//guess who can't sleep and has a busted computer? It's doing a thing it did before and I don't remember how to fix it :/ and its rather frustrating when you're trying to stay up until dawn because you're pretty damn sure there is something in the darkness with less than pleasant intentions. Thankfully those go away when the sun rises. So I'm stuck on mobile unable to really respond to threads while hoping my computer unfucks itself. Lucky me.

Jormungandr….his beloved son. Loki stood and walked over to his side of the table and pulled Jorm up, pulling him into a rough hug. “Jormungandr.” He whispered, kissing his cheek firmly. “I thought I would never see you again, not after Odin took you from me.”

Jorm tensed at the sudden contact, his brow knitting as he looked at his father. "Honestly... I had hoped no one would find me." After a pause, he eventually returned Loki's embrace, "However... I suppose I am glad it was family who did find me."

"My son." Loki frowned at him. Jorm was teasing him, but he was being specific. "Jormungandr did no one tell you it isn’t nice to tease your father?" He chanced. "Especially one who was was not allowed to raise you as his own?" His heart squeezed, praying to….well he never prayed to Odin, but he prayed to the fates that this was indeed his son, his long-lost serpent child.

"I had no one to teach me anything but Utgarda-Loki, and he didn't teach me much." Jormungandr shrugged, glancing away from Loki. He could tell his father was upset, and that put him on edge. Frowning some, he glanced back over, "I... Apologize."

"Incidentally." Sigyn stripped off her jacket, folding it over her arm as she took in the inside of the apartment. This time her scrutinies were more than mere idle curiosity, but asessing. The best hypothesis she could derive about how long before The End would probably come for noting how much dedication he’d put into domesticating the space. Who was going to both hanging photos up on a wall that would be crumbling in a week.

"Noticing you was the hard part, but someone else did that. Identifying and finding you wasn’t all that hard. Jormungandr Lokison." A breath was drawn as if to say more, but changed her mind before any sound passed. Sigyn had enough loyalty to SHIELD not to start speaking elaborate secrets.

She pointed towards one of the chairs. “May I? Midgardian travel does not agree with me.”

"Please. Sit wherever." He responded, making sure to lock his door before taking a seat himself.

Once he sat, he immediately propped his feet up on his table, kicking away the plate with his foot, "And please. On this side of the continent, I'm known as Landon James. I really do dislike being called 'Lokison', even if I weren't hiding. Leaves a nasty taste on my tongue." He flashed her a smirk, flicking his black forked tongue between his lips. "So. I'm supposing you're here because you fear my being on land means -- Oh pardon me, I've been rude. May I offer you a drink?" Jormungandr didn't move from his position, but did glance to the kitchen.

A new year, a new "friend"

New Years eve, the world was covered in New Years celebrations. The biggest one, in America at least, was in New York. He wanted to spend his New Year in Long Beach. Welcome in the year by the sea, but instead he had spent most of it with the father he hadn't seen in thousands of years.

But, as fate would have it, the crowds separated him from the trickster god -- which Jormungandr had guessed would happen because why would his father want to return to New York? -- and soon, he was swallowed by a crowd of people.

He wasn't exactly how it happened. His vision and mind blurred with the mix of bright colors and the awful sounds of the music they were playing. He never understood most mortal music, but this had to be the worse. But soon, the crowd began counting down -- rather loudly he might add -- and as the counter got closer to 0 and the ball began to descend, Jormungandr found himself face to face with a girl. A young woman, to be correct. Blonde hair, and well... Rather cute.

He smirked, and as the crowd called "ZERO" and the ball hit it's mark, he said a simple "Hi."
