A Sentinel shows kindness to those in need. That was something Hallkel followed to heart, one of the many rules of a Night Sentinel elite.
This was one of those times.
Hallkel’s appearance DEFINITELY hadn’t helped, but when his eyes settled on a lady wearing strange attire-- he could tell, no doubt, she was an Outlander like the Great Slayer.
The two found themselves in what looked to be an overgrown forest, with trees going up so high to the point they could barely see the skies and the clouds, and for Hallkel? This was a familiar place, with an old, deep cave nearby-- rather close to the ruins of Taras Nabad, the place he once called home. Now, to find an Outlander, though... It left him very, VERY worried. How did she even get here? Through a portal? Did she deal with demons? Oh, by the Wraiths, he really hoped she didn’t.
Adjusting his helmet, Hallkel had opted to take it off. Didn’t want to scare the poor woman more than she already was. He lifted his helmet from his head, revealing white hair put back into a rather long braid that tumbled down his back, with a bit of a beard put into two tails, and unnaturally bright blue eyes. His face was horribly scarred, and he had markings all ‘round the shaved sides of his head, going down his left side of his body, hidden by his armor.
Softly, he attempted to speak, hoping it’d calm her down. Strangely, he seemed to understand her language! Thankfully. It made things much, much more easier.
“ I did not mean to startle you, my Lady. ” He spoke, gently, as he tucked his helmet under his arm, taking note of how she might’ve felt panicked. After all, who wouldn’t, finding themselves in a completely different realm compared to their own? “ I am Hallkel the Unbroken, and I am a Night Sentinel elite-- well, one of the last few. I do not plan on ever bringing you harm. To do so would be going against my very Oath... ” He glanced around at where they were, though he let his serious visage fade to instead give a warm smile, hoping it’d help her calm down and not deal with any worry she might’ve felt. “ I-I, admittedly, do not know how you had gotten here, but you are definitely not of the same realm as I. ”
Straightening up, Hallkel had strapped his helmet to his belt, placing his hands onto his hips, “ But, there is no need to be concerned! I shall help you home in any way I can! ”
“ ’Tis my duty to help someone such as yourself, after all, my lady...! ”
