When she hugged him, Bruce seemed a bit shocked at first, but soon enough he wrapped his arms around her, embracing the hug. “Hey it’s alright luv… I understand…” He kissed her on the head before his hand moved towards her neck. Closing his eyes, he began to rub it, giving her a little massage. “Come on in… we were just reading that book you lent to me…”

The woman smirked when he kissed her head as she nuzzled in his chest. Feeling like nothing could go possibly wrong and that she was safe with him. However when she was relaxing into his hand she felt a little pinch...

and a strange sensation rose through her- similar to one where you stand up too quickly and the blood rushes to your head. Taiki was going to just shrug it off and ignore it however a jolt went up her spine and her clothes suddenly felt constricting. Along with only a tad of agonizing pain. 

She yelped out in pain as another one shot up wards- Hitting her head and she backed up in the hallway- coming to her horror that she was becoming taller than Bruce and that her clothes were ripping through her flesh. The worst of it is that it was like someone was throwing her into a wood chipper. Taiki was screaming out in pain as the ceiling started to crack.

Hearing the knock on the door, Bruce perked his head up as his puppy ran off his chest and started to jump at the door, tail wagging like crazy. When he heard the voice of his beloved, that’s when he pulled himself out of the bed and began putting on a shirt, now understanding the puppies excitement. Butch had grown quickly attached to Taiki, despite her being on the other team. Opening the door, the giant looked down at her, blinking slightly. “Taiki? What are ya doing out here… this late luv?”

Now she was confused and for the most part- embarrassed. Bruce didn’t look like he was in trouble at all, in fact seemed to be having a nice time with his furry companion. She stood there awkwardly like a statue- but then came back to reality as she rubbed her arm. Looking away shyly.  “I...well...um. I wanted to check in on you and, Hana is sick so... it’s very lonely and..” The normally stoic woman as shuddering like a high school girl admitting to her crush that they liked them. So instead of words that were falling apart, she just strait up hugged him with her head in his chest. Sighing into him. “I just wanted to see you.” She then smiled hearing the dog’s barks.  “and small Butch as well.”

Natasha checked her watch and saw she was a couple of minutes late. That was fine just as long she wasn’t that late. Who knows what Taiki will say to her for being late. Then she saw Taiki waving at her as soon she was nearing the park to hear people laughing and dogs barking.

She waved back as she reached the park before she dragged by her dogs who are waiting to be released, almost tugging off her robotic arm.

Taiki couldn’t help but silently chuckle at the sight. Knowing the woman has a lot of animals to take care of- she thought it was a feat that she had those two under control. Though before she could get up to greet the fellow sniper Hana caught notice of the two and just ran to them both. Barking in a playful manner.  When she made it to the other two dogs her tail was wagging in a high volatility as they howled at them with a content gruff.

The medic watched Taiki storm off from within the shadows, a smirk crossed his lips as she did so, all the pieces of the puzzle were falling right into place easily and without much hassle. Truth was, Bruce was fine, the giant was resting in his room when she came storming down towards the RED base. Butch was laying down on the giant’s chest as he continued to read Alice in Wonderland out loud to his canine companion.

Getting into the RED base wasn’t the hard part- it was like passing though an empty building at this time of night. Though her anxiety had gone through the roof as she was worried sick about Bruce. If something was wrong it could be life or death for him. It wouldn’t be a surprise that she was manipulated so easily.  Knowing where he slept, she managed to slip through the dorms and find his door. The woman inhaled trying to prepare herself for whatever Bruce was supposedly dealing with. Though when she silently knocked she paused in confusion. It sounded less like breaking out into monstrous sobs and more like he was reading calmly to someone. Strange. 

“....Bruce? It’s me.”

The Playdate

It was Dante Jr.’s first day to the park. He was excited. He was happy that he can meet new dogs and become friends with them. Zeus was coming along cause Natasha agreed to the play-date Taiki has suggested. She can’t wait to introduce Taiki to her new puppy, though it’s for Dante but still hers.

Holding two leashes for two dogs in one hand, the RED made her way to the park.

Deciding it would be best to sit and wait- the woman took a spot on a bench and started to unleash Hana, not caring about the law. When the dog was free she went in a couple of circles happily and then sat down. Waiting for something. Suddenly she barked and stood at attention when Taiki pulled out her favorite toy- A tennis ball!  Vroom! The dog bolted after the thrown ball while yipping her heart out. Taiki laid back on the bench with a smirk as her hawk eyes noticed Natasha entering the park. The blu waived her over.
