Scenes from the 2016 World Nomad Games hosted in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan. The World Nomad Games brings athletes from various countries, primarily from the Central Asian region and Russia, to participate in sports native to the Eurasian Steppe. The Eurasian Steppe was home to various nomadic peoples particularly the Iranic-speaking Scythians and Sarmatians, who were a source of fear for the ancient Greeks due to their warriorlike nature and great horse-riding skills; including their mastery of horseback archery. Both groups are believed to have originated in the Eurasian Steppes, but their settlements ranged from China to Poland, and because of this they greatly impacted the genetic pool and cultures of a number of different groups in Eastern Europe and Central Asia such as the people of the Caucasus, Slavs, Turkic people, and other modern Iranic people. The Sarmatians in particular were famed by Greek historians for their female warriors and rulers that inspired the stories of the Amazons.
You’re telling em we’ve been watching people swim back and forth across a pool in the olympics when these guys have foot archery and horseriding on fire?
Found two of their short films that’s featured in the clip above:

The Chase - The Movie
There’s more on their youtube channel, including a 10 min post-apocalyptic short film.
Me as the sole survivor of the apocalypse, commenting "last" on every YouTube video.
Whether it’s Disney’s or Sony’s fault, it impacts us the fans.
I really hope they could come to an agreement and continue having Spidey in MCU…It’s such a shame have a great character and not able to see him in a bigger universe other than his own.

I wonder how many people noticed that Dany’s first words to Sansa were almost the same as Cersei’s in season 1? She called her beautiful. No wonder Sansa didn’t take the compliment.
Before the S8 premiere, almost everyone, from the cast to D&D, told us that there was going to be a lot of callbacks to the series premiere. Daenerys greeting Sansa the way she did is a direct callback to Cersei greeting Sansa back in S1. The only difference is that Sansa can no longer be fooled by a beautiful Southern Queen.
I mean, compare this:
to this
S1 Sansa was thrilled to meet the Queen, who was known to be a beautiful woman. She grew up with songs telling the stories of beautiful and kind-hearted queens. She aspired to be one one day. That’s why she’s fascinated with Cersei; Sansa romantizices a lot of figures, and one of them is the figure of the Queen. In the songs, queens are good and kind and beautiful. So of course, Cersei must be like the queens she heard of in the songs she loves so much. She’s guided by her naivetë and romantic nature, so she blindly trusts Cersei and buys everything she says.
S8 Sansa knew from the get-go that behind the courtesies and smiles was a foreign conqueror wanting to strip the North (and her family) from their hard-earned independence. Sansa knew that life wasn’t a song, that sometimes, the scariest monsters hid behind a crown and beautiful smile. Sansa learnt from those who have hurt her, as a way of saying “never again”. Never again will she be fooled. In S8, Sansa is guided by her desire to protect those she loves. She is guided by her desire of protecting the very thing she was beaten for and bled for, the very thing her people went to war for, the very thing her family was murdered for. So, Sansa takes a stand and fights for what she wants.
