Norwegian synthpop act Coucheron’s Deep End, featuring Mayer Hawthorne and Eastside, is a helluva glistening good tune, but this nu-disco house remix by fellow Norwegian electronic artist Matoma is certainly a dreamy, lustrous delight, too. It’s rather grey and overcast in San Francisco today, so this is the perfect dose of summery, tropical sunshine and languid dreaminess that I needed. And if that isn’t enough tasty, balmy earfuls of happiness for you, Matoma has another brand new treat for us in the form of this chill tropical house remix of British R&B/soul artist Marlon Roudette’s When The Beat Drops Out. Two sweet, blissed out remixes in one week. Matoma, you’re much too generous.
