Summary: You and Bucky are roommates, you've had a crush on him for ages but you don't want to risk ruining your friendship so you stick to being friends until you go out and get drunk one night.
Warnings: there's not many warnings, the reader drinks enough to get drunk but other than that there's not much
A/N: This is my first Bucky fic ever so pls enjoy! I've also posted this on ao3
********
You and Bucky had been roommates ever since your second year at Uni when you both decided it would be cheaper, and more fun, to live together. You knew everything about each other and were always with each other, so much so that sometimes people would mistake you for a couple because of how close you were, but you always laughed it off. A small part of you wished that is was true, that you were dating but you knew that dating Bucky would also mean the chance of breaking up with him and you didn't want to risk that.
Dating Bucky was just a fantasy, something to daydream about when class was taking too long to finish or to help you get off late at night. It's not like it would ever happen, but that doesn't stop you from thinking about it, about the way he would kiss, how he would start gently, as though he was trying to commit your lips to memory then get rougher and more passionate as the moment progressed and then-
"Are you thinking about him again?" Nat's voice snaps you back to reality, back to the cosy little café ten minutes from your flat where you and Nat are supposed to be studying.
"What? No, I was just, um," You glance down at your biology notes "Thinking about enzymes." You hoped Nat would believe it but guess you can't lie to a human lie detector.
"Really? And what about enzymes has got you blushing?" Nat smirks knowing full well that you're lying.
You at least have the decency to look sheepish as you accept that you've been caught.
"You know, you should tell him how you feel, you never know he might feel the same." Nat's been trying to get you to confess for a while now but all her attempts have been in vain because you're just too stubborn.
"I don't know Nat, I just don't want to ruin what we have right now." You fidget with your pen "Plus, I'm sure it'll pass" You don't know if you're trying to convince Nat or yourself.
Nat leans back in her chair "Well, if you're not going to do anything about it, you need to get over him." She looks at you with a sly grin "Let's go out tonight."
"Tonight? But I still need to study." You hesitate looking down at your notes, you definitely didn't do as much studying as you hoped today.
"Yeah tonight, we'll invite Wanda as well and it'll just be our little trio going out and getting fucked." Sensing your hesitancy she adds "Come on, it'll be fun, you might even find someone else to take your mind off Buck."
Maybe you should go, going out with the girls is always fun and you definitely need to get your mind off Bucky. "Ok, let's go." Yeah, you can study later.
"Great! I'll text Wanda" Nat pulls out her phone and rapidly types a message to Wanda "All done, this is gonna be great! Make sure you look cute."
"I always look cute" You start packing your things away since you clearly aren't going to be doing any studying.
Nat rolls her eyes and smirks at you. "Alright cocky"
You roll your eyes right back at her. Who knows, maybe going out tonight will be good for you, you definitely need it.
*****
A few hours later your sitting on the floor in front of your full length mirror, blasting your hype music and trying to get your eyeliner just right. You've already wearing your outfit for the night, a black mini dress that snatches your waist and accents your curves paired with matching black heels that make you a good three inches taller. Finishing your make-up you can't help but admire yourself, you feel like a million bucks.
"You look good." Bucky's leaning in your doorway, you hadn't even noticed him standing there.
"Thanks creep, how long have you been standing there?" You smirk, you don't actually mind him watching you, if you're being honest you find it kinda flattering that he's admiring you.
"I was just passing by then I saw you getting all dolled up." He crosses his arms, showing off his built forearms, as he eyes you up once again. "You going out with Nat?"
"And Wanda, but yeah we're going to meet up at Nat's place first and then go out." You put your make-up in your bag and toss it on your bed. You turn to leave but end up face to face with Bucky, well almost, even with your heels he's still taller than you.
You're about to tell him to move but you get distracted by how intensely he's looking at you, then his gaze drops down to your lips and you copy the motion and look at his lips. You're so close to each other you can't help but lean in and everything slows down as Bucky leans in too and you're so close, you're almost-
A sudden ringtone interrupts the moment, making both of you jump as far from each other as possible.
Bucky quickly mutters an apology and leaves before you have time to say anything. What the fuck? You almost kissed, that's not supposed to happen, you're literally going out tonight so you can get over him. Wait. He wanted to kiss you too so... does that mean he feels the same? You let out a frustrated groan as your phone keeps ringing. You want to spend more time analysing what just happened but you got places to be so you answer the call.
"Hey girl, are you nearby? I'm already at Nat's." Wanda asks completely oblivious to what she just interrupted.
It takes you a moment to process what she just said since your mind's all over the place. "Yeah, I'll be there in like five minutes."
You hang up and leave your flat without bumping into Bucky, thankfully. You just need to go out and forget about Bucky which is easier said than done, especially after what just happened.
A/N: Btw if anyone else wants to be tagged pls let me know and I'll tag you in the next part
Reminder they want to increase the budget for ICE from 3.5 to 45 billion dollars.
Reminder the majority of that will be for building new detention centers.
Reminder ICE are *currently* detaining tourists who can pay for a plane ticket home and people with visa issues that were already resolved, because they have to make quota so Trump can brag about the numbers going up.
Reminder most of these people were already in the immigration system - that's why they were easy to detain.
it's the little eyebrow scrunch for me. Anyways here's much awaited part two, I hope you guys enjoy!! Sorry it took so long I got sick
Description: Jake Seresin x Reader
Reader has been in a bad place mentally and Jake noticed.
Warnings: Use of y/n?? depression,
It's been three weeks since Phoenix invited you out to the hard deck and Jake hasn't stopped thinking about you. While he does like to brag, usually nobody stays stuck in his mind.
In other words, Jake Seresin is a warm blooded player. He likes fast planes and fast flings. It all honesty it's just easier that way. He isn't usually in the same place for very long, and he doesn't like things getting messy in his life. Getting into a serious relationship to have to move half way across the world, well that is messy in Jakes book.
His last serious relationship was with his college girlfriend, who cheated on him when he joined the navy and was gone for training. So safe to say that's when he decided he wasn't going to go through that again.
"Hangman!" he whips his head up to see coyote giving him a strange look.
"dude we've been calling your name for like thirty seconds, what were you thinking about" and well Jake isn't going to say he was thinking about the time he was cheated on so he laughs instead.
"my bad, just thinking of a new strategy in the air" and if Machado knew he was lying he didn't call him out on it either way.
"well we were all just talking about going to the beach Saturday and having a barbecue and bonfire there. You in?"
"hell yeah I'm in" and out of the corner of his eye he see's phoenix talking to rooster, and if he he was willing to be more obvious about his hope that maybe she would invite you.
__
Jake had never really needed to chase after anyone he wanted to date. He is a handsome guy, and well he knows that. So when he likes someone he usually just asks them out, and they say yes. Making dating very simple for him. However, nobody ever shut down his flirting as quickly as you did.
Which leaves him feeling surprised when on Saturday afternoon he was excited from the thoughts of seeing you. He changed three times. Three times. Jake does not change out of nervous excitement... ever.
"Snap out of it seresin you don't know if she's going to be here anyways" he mumbles to himself before opening his truck door. He grabs his cooler and heads toward the loud group he can see in the distance.
He ignores the slight burn of disappointment when he doesn't see you in the group of people he has come to call family.
"Hi party people I brought more beers!" he grins wide and laughs as Coyote jumps over Bob in his haste to grab a beer.
"My man I knew you would come through!"
_____
Your POV
The sun is starting to set when you park at the beach. A few hours later than phoenix said the start time to this whole beach barbecue was, but you couldn't bring yourself to come any earlier. It's a miracle you made it now if you're totally honest with yourself.
Spending a majority of the day rotting, you were planning on doing just that for the rest of the night too, but then, you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and an indignant version of you roared its head.
A small voice in the back of your mind insisting that you had to do something, change something, or you'd be miserable rotting on weekends forever. As much as you didn't want to go out, you didn't want to live like this forever either. So you pulled yourself out of bed, showered and got ready.
Shaking out your hands, you force yourself to open the car door and start heading to the loud group of people you haven't met enough times to be truly comfortable with yet.
"You came!!" phoenix's excited gasp catches the attention of the group, making all of them throw a glance your way. You swallow hard and keep walking closer, letting phoenix run up to you and give you a hug.
"Hi Phe" you laugh and hug her back. Missing the way a blond haired aviator zoned out of his own conversation to stare at you.
"Hi everyone" you give a small wave with a shy smile. Rooster and bob come up to you next, greeting you like an old friend, which warms your heart.
You can tell they've all been drinking for the last few hours. The flush in bob's cheeks and the way Rooster is leaning one arm around your shoulders and grinning.
"we were all hoping you would make it!" Roosters almost shouts in your ear. You can't help but laugh, but you try to act like what he said doesn't mean so much to you.
"we've got hot-hot dogs and hamburgers.... and loads of alcohol!!" and he starts guiding you around showing you the different coolers filled with different types of wine coolers and beers.
You can't help the shaking of your shoulders at rooster guiding you around like a lost puppy. He even goes so far to start making you a cheeseburger up.
"Ketchup you like ketchup right?" and you nod as he spreads some on your burger. Once he finishes up he grins as he hands you his masterpiece with a big helping of chips.
Before you can say anything else Fanboy calls after Rooster and he bounds away. Shaking your head you make you way to the seats around the fire.
"I see you got your rooster burger" and you turn to see Jake walking up to take the seat next to you. "he has been doing that all night"
"hey as long as it's good I'm cool with it" you give Jake a shy smile and take a bite of the burger. To your surprise it was actually one of the best burgers you've ever had. At the sight of your eyebrows jumping up Jake laughs.
"Yeah rooster is kind of a genius chef when he's drunk, makes no sense to us but get him tipsy and he is the best cook."
"okay so rooster drunk cooks, what is your hidden drunk talent then?" you say after taking another bite.
"I wish I had one, or I guess if I do have one, I have no idea what it is" his brow furrows as if he now is invested in this silly question.
"ahhh see I know mine but I don't know if it's a good thing, when I am drunk enough I will wander off and fall asleep anywhere. Sober can't even sleep in cars but when I'm drunk? lets just say I woke up in the back of a strangers pickup truck and it really freaked me out" you laugh, and Jake notices that this one lights up your face more than any of the other smiles he has seen you give him.
"well if you feel the insatiable need to sleep somewhere tonight, my shoulder is available, or the back of my truck is that grey one right there" and he gives you a cheeky smile. For half a second he's scared that you won't laugh and you will tell him off again. When you stop chewing slowly to glance at the fire and back at him, he holds his breath.
"that sounds like a deal Jake" you grin at him, before patting his shoulder and squinting like your measuring his comfortability. It made his heart stutter unbeknownst to you, the warmth of your hand on his shoulder.
He gets called away before he can truly dwell on those feelings, but later that night when he sees you walking in a way that gives away your tipsy state, towards the same chairs as you two occupied earlier. He shut down his conversation and went to sit in his designated spot, and well when your head hit his shoulder he felt the insatiable urge to protect you. To make you smile more, and to definitely feel your touch on him again.
I wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed Not Real. I deal with some mental health issues and I wish I could find someone who could see potential in me like I believe Jake does. It hasn’t happened for me yet but it is why I like reading and finding really great fan fiction writers who can make me see myself being the character. So thank you and I look forward to reading more of your work. Have an upcoming week.
I have no words, this was the most special message to receive. All I can ever hope for as a fic writer is for my writing to touch people or make them feel seen/ comforted. There’s always pieces of me in everything I write, it’s always so raw that for anyone to feel seen in my writing feels so so special to me.
All I can really say is it does get better and you will find your people 🩷 but I’m so glad you enjoy my writing and thank you so much for sharing this thought with me. It means more than I could ever explain 🩷🩷
There are people – some in my own Party – who think that if you just give Donald Trump everything he wants, he’ll make an exception and spare you some of the harm. I’ll ignore the moral abdication of that position for just a second to say — almost none of those people have the experience with this President that I do. I once swallowed my pride to offer him what he values most — public praise on the Sunday news shows — in return for ventilators and N95 masks during the worst of the pandemic. We made a deal. And it turns out his promises were as broken as the BIPAP machines he sent us instead of ventilators. Going along to get along does not work – just ask the Trump-fearing red state Governors who are dealing with the same cuts that we are. I won’t be fooled twice.
I’ve been reflecting, these past four weeks, on two important parts of my life: my work helping to build the Illinois Holocaust Museum and the two times I’ve had the privilege of reciting the oath of office for Illinois Governor.
As some of you know, Skokie, Illinois once had one of the largest populations of Holocaust survivors anywhere in the world. In 1978, Nazis decided they wanted to march there.
The leaders of that march knew that the images of Swastika clad young men goose stepping down a peaceful suburban street would terrorize the local Jewish population – so many of whom had never recovered from their time in German concentration camps.
The prospect of that march sparked a legal fight that went all the way to the Supreme Court. It was a Jewish lawyer from the ACLU who argued the case for the Nazis – contending that even the most hateful of speech was protected under the first amendment.
As an American and a Jew, I find it difficult to resolve my feelings around that Supreme Court case – but I am grateful that the prospect of Nazis marching in their streets spurred the survivors and other Skokie residents to act. They joined together to form the Holocaust Memorial Foundation and built the first Illinois Holocaust Museum in a storefront in 1981 – a small but important forerunner to the one I helped build thirty years later.
I do not invoke the specter of Nazis lightly. But I know the history intimately — and have spent more time than probably anyone in this room with people who survived the Holocaust. Here’s what I’ve learned – the root that tears apart your house’s foundation begins as a seed – a seed of distrust and hate and blame.
The seed that grew into a dictatorship in Europe a lifetime ago didn’t arrive overnight. It started with everyday Germans mad about inflation and looking for someone to blame.
I’m watching with a foreboding dread what is happening in our country right now. A president who watches a plane go down in the Potomac – and suggests — without facts or findings — that a diversity hire is responsible for the crash. Or the Missouri Attorney General who just sued Starbucks – arguing that consumers pay higher prices for their coffee because the baristas are too “female” and “nonwhite.” The authoritarian playbook is laid bare here: They point to a group of people who don’t look like you and tell you to blame them for your problems.
I just have one question: What comes next? After we’ve discriminated against, deported or disparaged all the immigrants and the gay and lesbian and transgender people, the developmentally disabled, the women and the minorities – once we’ve ostracized our neighbors and betrayed our friends – After that, when the problems we started with are still there staring us in the face – what comes next.
All the atrocities of human history lurk in the answer to that question. And if we don’t want to repeat history – then for God’s sake in this moment we better be strong enough to learn from it.
I swore the following oath on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible: “I do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the state of Illinois, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of Governor .... according to the best of my ability.
My oath is to the Constitution of our state and of our country. We don’t have kings in America – and I don’t intend to bend the knee to one. I am not speaking up in service to my ambitions — but in deference to my obligations.
If you think I’m overreacting and sounding the alarm too soon, consider this:
It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic. All I’m saying is when the five-alarm fire starts to burn, every good person better be ready to man a post with a bucket of water if you want to stop it from raging out of control.
Those Illinois Nazis did end up holding their march in 1978 – just not in Skokie. After all the blowback from the case, they decided to march in Chicago instead. Only twenty of them showed up. But 2000 people came to counter protest. The Chicago Tribune reported that day that the “rally sputtered to an unspectacular end after ten minutes.” It was Illinoisans who smothered those embers before they could burn into a flame.
Tyranny requires your fear and your silence and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage. So gather your justice and humanity, Illinois, and do not let the “tragic spirit of despair” overcome us when our country needs us the most.

Hi Guys!! I mentioned writing this fic back in august??? anyways sorry for taking so long. I'm trying to have more balance with my creative hobbies and do them more regularly.
Description: Hangman, ever elusive and avoiding commitment finally finds the one. Except she doesn't think love is real anymore. Part 1
Warnings: Depression, Reader loses themselves, Slow burn, and I do use y/n so sue me ig
Pairing: Jake Seresin x female Reader
Readers POV
It's an uncharacteristically rainy day in Southern California. You heave a small sigh at the ever lasting grey clouds. To be completely honest, your life has felt like an everlasting grey cloud recently.
Heart broken one too many times, seemed to take the color out of life. You were someone who looked at fuzzy bumble bee's and grinned. Who felt the wind blow against her skin and let it relax any tension.
Now it was like nothing but grey existed in your mind. You didn't know how to escape the hallow shell you have turned into. It felt like the person you were is so far gone and yet you still vividly remember every thing. Every thing you loved about the version of you, you just can't seem to reach any more.
The easy laughter no longer came, the yellow sunshine your personality was described as now ashes and dull. The worst part of all of it was nobody noticed.
Nobody put together how your entire world was ripped away and nobody saw how it changed you. How you could barely get through the day, crawling back into bed as soon as you get home.
These endless grey days lasted months. A good thing would happen, you got a raise, and cried to yourself later that night. It was good, why didn't anything feel good, why didn't you feel like enough anymore.
------
You could feel the change, not sure when it happened but it felt like it was so slow and then all at once. One day you couldn't imagine being happy ever again, and suddenly, one day you had your spark back.
You'd never wish on your worst enemy the 8 months you had just lived through, the thoughts that haunted you now just painful memories you can push to the side and leave behind.
You found friends you genuinely feel happy to know. Who have your back in every scenario. It started with meeting Phoenix, or rather Natasha. You first met Natasha after forcing yourself to go to the gym regularly. Hoping the endorphins that release from exercise would help your depression.
In ways they did, like the butterfly effect. You went to the gym, every day for a week and Natasha noticed. She noticed the empty eyes, and came up to you one afternoon. She introduced herself and asked if you wanted to be friends, In her exact words
"I'm sorry if this sounds weird but I work with all dudes and I genuinely need someone to talk to that doesn't rage testosterone, soooo brunch Sunday?"
And it sparked a real laugh out of you, a sound that use to be so common to you now unfamiliar to your own ears.
It's been six months since then, you and Phoenix have grow very close, She has introduces you to a few of her coworkers 'the safe few' she has dubbed them.
It was a usual Thursday night for you when you get a call from her, asking you to come to the hard deck. Which is unusual for her, she usually liked to keep her aviator life separate from her friendship with you.
It didn't bother you, her reasoning of pilots are assholes and your aversion to getting hurt again made it pretty straight forward to take her word for it.
So when you pulled up to the parking lot of the infamous bar she frequents with her navy friends. It feels a little like going into the lions den.
You roll you shoulders and sigh. An old version of you tickling the back of your mind that this is what you should be doing when you're young and single. Not moping because your heart got shattered beyond repair. Or so you believed anyways.
The loud ambiance of the bar was startling slightly, for a Thursday night the bar is packed. A sea of never ending khaki it takes you a few minutes to find your friend.
"y/n!" Rooster calls, one of the few 'safe friends' you have met. He has always been nice to you, and in fact regularly joins your girls nights.
"Hi rooster" you grin at the mustached golden retriever. Giving him a side hug, trying not to feel intimidated by the eyes on you. "nobody told me khaki was the move tonight" you laughed
Rooster shook his head grinning. "I know, it's bad isn't it" and okay it definitely isn't the look for some, but you will definitely attest that rooster and every in this area seems to pull them off well.
"oof" a grunt leaves your lips as you are suddenly hugged from the side, a slightly taller brunette almost taking you down with her on impact.
"Nat what on earth" you laugh.
"I-II knew you would c-come!" She slurred her words and her eyes looked at you unfocused. You furrow your brow and help balance her.
"uh phoenix why did you ask me to come? do you need a ride home?" there was a small part of you that was hoping she would say yes and you could leave the loud crowd, especially feeling like a sore thumb being one of the very few people in denim shorts and a tank top.
"No- No, si-silly. Hangman here said I didn't have any friends, so I bet him I did and that you would come here and prove it." you laughed because Natasha was always betting on things, especially when she gets tipsy. "he owes me fifty bucks now" she grins
"HANGMAN!!" you wince as she shouts in your left ear. You hear a slow drawl that sounds like he's somewhere from the south in reply.
"Yea yea Phe, I will get you cash tomorrow" You turn your head and notice the tall blonde man leaning against the wall. Clearly watching this whole interaction. He gives you a wide grin, one you can tell right away means he gets what he wants and has no problem breaking hearts.
"what I can't figure out is why phoenix has been hiding you all this time" his eyebrow raises when he notice you grimace, his clear attempt to be charming not impressing you.
"probably cause pilots are assholes" is your albeit maybe a little to monotoned reply. It's not that you wanted to be mean. You just had to shut down any attempt at flirting. You don't think any version of your heart could ever love again.
What you didn't expect was for him to cock his head a small smile playing on his lips.
"well Phoenix has always been smart that way" not offended that you basically called him and half the people in this bar an asshole. "I'm Jake though, or as you heard earlier, hangman"
You just nod, finally getting introductions to the rest of the group. Excluding bob and rooster, the only other pilots you had been introduced too.
Despite only being called upon to win fifty dollars (which phoenix is buying brunch for on Sunday) You found yourself enjoying the company and getting to know the people Phoenix spent most of her time with. Finally putting names to faces she has definitely complained about.
At a certain point rooster goes up to the piano, something you had heard he does before coming tonight. You exited the bar for a few minutes to breathe. Thinking about the past and how the old you would be relishing in the socialization, singing along with rooster and the others, no worried and unbroken.
"Penny for your thoughts?" you startle looking to the left and seeing hangman leaning against the wall to the bar.
"Trust me you don't want to spend a penny on those" you laugh, but it feels a little hallow.
"why not, I already spent fifty bucks to prove you existed" that laugh comes a little easier.
"why'd you do that by the way?" you question. he had to have known you were real.
"honestly because phoenix talks about you a lot, and rooster and bob started mentioning you and I was curious"
"curiosity cost the cat fifty dollars apparently" you throw a grin at him, walking out to the sand kicking your sandals to the side to feel the coldness of the sand touch your skin. You weren't surprised when he followed, you kind of expected it.
"it sure did... but I have a gut feeling it was the best money I've every spent" It makes something old and dead flutter inside you, and it scares the shit out of you.
"I don't know you ever spend fifty bucks on pizza when it's just you? cause that's some pretty good self care to me" you can't tell how he takes your evasion of his comment.
"that's pretty good too, but my gut feelings are usually right." in the past maybe heat would've rushed to your cheeks at his comment. Now though, fear rushed to your heart. You turned to look at him. No response on the tip of your tongue, and you were scared how awkward this interaction was going to get.
"well goodnight Darling, hope I see you again soon" and he smiled at you, then turned and walked to his truck. You watched as he pulled out of the parking lot, until his taillights faded. You headed back into the bar to say your goodbyes.
Later that night as you crawled into bed, mind blazing over everything that happened unexpectedly and knowing you'll be in for a tired tomorrow.
You couldn't get the thought of a certain blue eyed pilot out of you mind.

Jakes POV
He'd been hearing stories about you for months, Funny, sarcastic, kind, caring, every thing you could imagine in form of stories for months. At first he thought nothing of it, Phoenix having a girl friend is probably good when she deals with him everyday.
Then Bob started talking about you and funny stories with you and Phoenix. Then Rooster added into the group. It was safe to say Jake was feeling severe FOMO.
He had a plan. Get phoenix tipsy and she's pretty suggestible to anything, especially betting. So yes he planned on getting you to the bar, shamelessly flirting with Phoenix's friend and annoying Natasha the next day.
The universe had other plans, because when Jake laid eyes on you, it was like a spotlight was shining on you, he couldn't see anyone else. The bitter rage he felt at roosters hand on your side when you gave him a sheepish hug, burned hot.
So when he hit you with a flirty one liner, and you retorted, usually he wouldn't have given up. He saw it though, in your eyes, the cold dark fear. He became curious, what happened to make you so guarded, and why did he want to solve that so badly?
He sat in that bar and watched you laugh and joke, the smile never really reached your eyes though.
So Jake went home that night, focused on a new goal.
It’s been a while since I’ve posted and even longer since I’ve released any fics. But it is something I miss dearly bc I love the creative element to writing 🩷
So I have a few fic ideas bouncing around and the inspiration for them… new fics definitely coming soon and I’m gonna touch base on old ones and complete any non completed ones! So bear with me and I find a balance that works!
Love you guys! And would you guys want me to open requests again?
One thing golden era Wattpad writers had going for them was that they knew the importance of a buildup. I'm of the opinion that the sexual tension is WAY more satisfying to read than the actual sex and quite frankly there is a serious lack of non smutty writing.
Like I really miss reading fics/ x readers that start from scratch. Meeting the characters, initial reactions getting to know them, the tension the jealousy the TENSION the freaking tension.
Looking and looking away when they get spotted, touches that feel like they linger but perhaps they didn't and they're both so hot for each other that they think it's wishful thinking. And I don't mean just sweet sunshine romances, darker works can have a buildup too but it seems like so much is just about getting to the smut instead of the psychological aspect.
you will feel so alive again.. like so incredibly alive. i dont know when that will be but it will be. u are gonna feel so alive that ur cheeks hurt from smiling oh man oh man i promise that day is coming. you do have a future, you do have good things coming, and you’ll survive everything that’s thrown at you until you reach that day
Me and my disabled friends always say "people say im strong but i don't WANT to be strong." If you feel this way right now i wish for you to reach a point in your life that easy and smooth, where you can have proper rest, peace, and happiness, whatever that may look like. I'm sorry you have to fight tooth and nail everyday right now, and i hope it ends soon.
Okay guys what if I wrote a hangman x reader where the reader doesn’t believe in love anymore and hangman is ever elusive never really been in anything serious, only wants her??? And he realizes it’s gonna take a lot of work for her to trust him and it’s safe to love again???
