Poe sassing the bad guys
Sociopathy: psychopathic, antisocial, criminal. Lacking morality and responsibility.
I don’t try to play psychiatrist to myself. I just want to know… If I’ve changed.
when i say “my last two brain cells”; this is Exactly how i picture them
I’ve gotten really good at not judging characters, you have that fear of ‘God, I don’t know if I can do this.’ But the script was intriguing. And regardless of what I thought happened, and what judgments I had about all that, I just had to let it go, and trust the script. My job as an actor is to just tell the story as best I can, from my character’s point of view, and let the audience decide.- Sebastian Stan on “I, Tonya”

he’s strong. he’s fast. had a metal arm.
“In the spring of 1940, when the Nazis overran France from the north, much of its Jewish population tried to escape the country towards the south. In order to cross the border, they needed visas to Spain and Portugal, and together with a flood of other refugees, tens of thousands of Jews besieged the Portuguese consulate in Bordeaux in a desperate attempt to get that life-saving piece of paper. The Portuguese government forbade its consuls in France to issue visas without prior approval from the Foreign Ministry, but the consul in Bordeaux, Aristides de Sousa Mendes, decided to disregard the order, throwing to the wind a thirty-year diplomatic career. As Nazi tanks were closing in on Bordeaux, Sousa Mendes and his team worked around the clock for ten days and nights, barely stopping to sleep, just issuing visas and stamping pieces of paper. Sousa Mendes issued thousands of visas before collapsing from exhaustion.
The Portuguese government—which had little desire to accept any of these refugees—sent agents to escort the disobedient consul back home, and fired him from the foreign office. Yet officials who cared little for the plight of human beings nevertheless had a deep reverence for documents, and the visas Sousa Mendes issued against orders were respected by French, Spanish and Portuguese bureaucrats alike, spiriting up to 30,000 people out of the Nazi death trap. Sousa Mendes, armed with little more than a rubber stamp, was responsible for the largest rescue operation by a single individual during the Holocaust.”

This is a good reminder right now.
“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.”
He’s on top of you! He’s going in through the back! Oh, God! He’s inside! You hear yourself, right?
Zazie Beetz as Neena “Domino” Thurman in Deadpool 2 (2018)
I’ve spent years, in a haze, trying to forget my past. Sakaar seemed like the best place to drink, and to forget… and to die, one day. Well, I was thinking that you drink too much and it was probably gonna kill you. I don’t plan to stop drinking. But… I don’t wanna forget. I can’t turn away anymore. So, if I’m gonna die, well, it might as well be driving my sword through the heart of that murderous hag.
Sebastian Stan August Man (April 2018)
The whole russia conspiracy aspect of contemporary liberalism actually matters, because it reveals the extent to which American liberals are incapable of reconciling themselves to the white supremacist reality of United States. Faced with a president that openly embraces and flirts with white supremacy, liberals only response is “we americans cant possibly have been the ones to do this, it has to be an external force” which is really emblematic of liberalism’s inability to account for the violence and injustice which it is founded on.
I’ve lived my life by those sentiments. They’re well worth dying for.
Steve Rogers (Infinity War) - 2017
My take on Steve in Infinity War. Of course, it’s not the exact suit because the only reference pictures I had were a couple of concept art posted by Ryan Meinerding and poor quality screenshots from the leaked trailer. Hope you will like it, though ♥
