Last year qxej sent me these diagrams but they were never posted. With help of @gender-resource here are the definitions:

Neutremmangi: A gender that is in-between Female and Neutrangi.

Neutrommangi: A gender that is in-between Male and Neutrangi.

Neutrélanger: A gender that is in-between Neutrangi and Gender-neutral.

Neutréparé: A gender that is in-between a given Aporagender and Gender-neutral.

Aporax: A gender that in-between a given Aporagender and Androgyne.

Neutrax: A gender that is in-between Neutrangi and Androgyne.

Aporagyne: A gender that is in-between Female and Aporagender.

Androaporine: A gender that is in-between Male and Aporagender.

Juxtaneutrangi: A gender relative to Neutrangi, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to Neutrangi in the Gender Spectrum.

Aproxora: A gender relative to a given Aporagender, but is distinct from it. It does not lie outside of the Gender Spectrum. A term to describe gender that is immediately proximal to a Given Aporagender in the Gender Spectrum.

Neutrélanger comes from neutre and mélanger (mix, standing for androgyne). Neutréparé comes from neutre and séparé (separate, standing for aporagender/aporanity/aporane, separate from male, female, anything in-between).

tumblr Apocalypse migration

I have just backed up my blogs using https://gitlab.com/iso-i/tumblr_evacuate

(its just a scrappy collection of scripts to copy the text of each post and the images.)  Its far from perfect, (and is probably missing lots of things.)

Tested on Linux. (I hope that someone will fork it for windows and other operating systems.) It might work on OSX, but you might have to change the paths.

More Charmed than Who?

I’ve just started watching the reboot of Charmed. I’m lucky enough to have lived through the original and didn’t hold out much hope for the reboot, (the old “you can never step in the same river twice/go home” ideas.)

 I thought I’d just watch a little bit of the pilot and stop as soon as it was clear that I was far too old for this, (clearly) teenage stuff... and then the episode was over and I wanted to watch the next... and the next. (I don’t know what spells the new show is casting, but they are working on me!)

Charmed 2018 is so good that it has partly repaired the damage that Supergirl did to my hope for television when it jumped the shark For Good in season three episode 12 (about 30 minutes in where Kara tells a bodyguard “Don’t grab women” after assaulting him while he was doing his job.) *le sigh*

Charmed 2018 clearly highlights things that need to be improved in western society, without swinging the feminist pendulum too far the other way, (the “hysterical man” quip might have been a little strained, but it was clearly earned through the episode.) If viewers remember only one thing, I’d hope that the message, “anyone can revoke consent at any time” is it, (and if someone does revoke consent, the correct response is to immediately support their decision. “I support your decision. What would you like to do now?”)

The other thing that I’ve been looking forward to, as I adjust my witches hat, (I’m trying it on for Halloween and totally don’t wear it year round,) is Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor. (She’s from up North, and if that wan’t enough she was excellent in Trust Me and The Assets, not forgetting Broadchurch... the list goes on.)

I watched the first two episodes and unlike Charmed 2018 I had high hopes. The first two episodes were well crafted and well acted. They had just the right amount of fan service to make me smile. (My Doctor was TB, but PD, CB and even SM were fine for me. How I felt about Sophie Aldred as Ace told me far too much about myself long before I was ready to hear it.)

Something was missing from the first two episodes and it slowly dawned on me that if a person jumped out of a blue box next to me and invited me on an adventure, I’d probably shrug and “pass” simply for a lack of authority and gravitas. I really don’t get the feeling that she is hundreds of years old. 

Then I watched s11x03 Rosa and it made me cry in a good way. I still don’t feel that Whittaker’s portrayal of the Doctor projects as a natural leader, but I’m going to carry on watching with the hope that season 11, (of what is, itself a reboot) is a slow-burn towards the favourite Doctor for many people.

The best thing, so far about the latest Doctor Who season, is seeing how wrong so many of the negative predictions, already are. I still have hope that Doctor Who will save humanity, (or at least a few decent English people.)
