My personal interpretation of how Friend could be shown in future chapters is definitely the mischievous type. Wouldn't be surprised if they talked in a very confusing manner; maybe in riddles or even similar to the man? Although, I don't think they're the type to come out of the shadows and make their goals clear, I believe that at the end of the day they'll always remain somewhat mysterious. I like to believe they're the type to "toy" with their prey, make them confused and scared just to get a kick out of it, and this may be a little more specific, but, to me, their laugh would be almost ear-shattering loud.
And, about the design, it really is just the one I posted !
