Miira no Kaikata (How to Keep a Mummy) is a wonderful webcomic by Kakeru Utsugi! It can be found in its official format in the original Japanese through Comico; there is currently no official way to read it online in English. There are also printed manga adaptations in both languages, as well as an anime (subbed in English). This blog is dedicated solely to sharing a fan translation of webcomic chapters that have not yet been officially translated into English.
Why can't I find chapter [#]?
This blog is only concerned with translating chapters that don’t yet have any official English translation. Chapters that can be read in English in the manga volumes (or that were made available through the now-defunct Pocket Comics app) as of this blog’s inception weren’t translated. If it’s a later chapter and it’s not here, it’s likely still on the to-be-translated list.
Why is the translation/scan low quality?
My Japanese skills are minimal and so is my time- this is a passion project undertaken with liberal help from Google translate. I’m not a proper translator/scanlator, I’m just a dedicated fan who really wants to know what happens next in the comic!
If you are struggling with the low quality that tumblr itself sometimes forces upon photo posts, downloading the pictures should solve the problem!
How can I read the chapters in order?
Go to the Chapters tab, or search the tag “#full chapter” and add /chrono to the end of the url.
