An Elijah Mikaelson appreciation post
Heâs a feminist
heâs a badass
heâs sexy
heâs suave
heâs confident
heâs special and he knows it
he commands respect
heâs talented
he almost always wears a suit
but he looks good without one too
he makes a fantastic villian
but he makes a great hero too.Â
Possessive Elijah
Rest assured, friends. We are starting off 2019 just as thirsty for dg as we ended 2018.
and then everyone lived happily after.
Yep. They definitely all loved happily ever after and Hayley came back and no one was dead :')

How dare you call me out like this
//this reminds me of Elijah & Kassia when they were humans. Though Kassia isnât usually so upfront about it because of Mikael, so he must have been away lol.

Mikael: Did you truly think you could hide forever? Kassia: O.O
âHe did. I still donât know his reasoning to this day. I used to think that it was because he still held some affection in his heart towards me. He was there when my father wasnât. But then I learned how cruel he truly was, which was only amplified by him becoming a vampire. Iâm sure there was some ulterior motive behind him saving me,â she stated. âIt had nothing to do with Esther, actually. After they became vampires, my mother and I fled to France, with my father. We were at a dance one night and got attacked. I donât know by who or what.. Mikael happened to run across me and turn me,â she commented. âThen started hunting me after I left and tried to sabotage his means of finding his children,âÂ
Kassiaâs smile only brightened as she listened to Hayleyâs words of how Elijah was around Hope. âI knew he would be. He showed that same tenderness with the others, when they were babies,â she smiled fondly at the memories. âMinus the baby swings of course,â she couldnât help but laugh.Â
âIâm very sorry. I know how important it is to have father in your life and how the absence can effect somebody.â Kassia had a father figure in her life, even if it was a short time. Making her more lucky then Hayley. Although Mikael did try to kill her, ruining their father and daughter relationship. âwere you close to your mom?â The absence of a mother figure used to cause the hybrid sadness but recently not anymore. The time she spent with Hope maid up for all the time she didnât get to spend with her mom. âHave any favorite memories?âÂ
Pure happiness always came to Hayley when she either talked about Hope or Elijah, the two people she loved most in the world. âI think it would be fair to compare him to supper nanny. Although I think he puts her to shame.â  Â
Kassia gave a shrug. âItâs not as if he didnât want us to come with him. My mother just decided against it,â she commented. âHe wrote letters, but it was as if I was writing to a stranger,â she mused. âMy mother and I were pretty close I suppose. She and Esther taught me a lot about healing herbs and whatnot,â she said. At the question of her favorite memories of her mother, Kassia had to think. A thousand years worth of memories was a hell of a lot. A light smile crossed her features. âWe made flower crowns quite a bit when I was young,â she commented. âWhich was always fun,â
Kassia laughed at her comment before smiling brightly. âI have no doubt he puts super nanny to shame. I mean, super nanny doesnât have super speed or strength,â she commented. âNor does she have the ability to love a child literally for eternity,â she smirked lightly.
Blowing on her coffee, Hayley holds the cup to her lips and sips it gingerly. Being careful to not burn her lips. âThat was a smart choice on your momâs decision. She probably didnât want you around him once he went crazy. He kept in touch with you?â Hayley never guessed in a million years that âthe destroyerâ would be one to write letters. âHe must have loved you a lot. Even thought you were one of his blood. Itâs actually kind sweet in a creepy way if you think.â The act may have been harmless, but Hayley couldnât help but think it was his way of tracking her. The brunette couldnât help but smile at Kassiaâs memory. âOut of real flower and vines I imagine. I hope thatâs something I can do with Hope someday.
âI would love to see Super Nanny pick up three screaming kids at once. If she could do it then just maybe sheâs better. Plus Elijah is a free babysitter. Super Nanny probably charges a unfortunate, which Klaus could afford easily.  Â
âOh. Heavenâs no. We didnât keep in touch with Mikael, or any of them, after they became vampires. My true father, heâs the one that I stayed in contact with. In France. Though even without keeping in touch Mikael was able to find me in my fatherâs manor. I suppose I should have thanked him for technically saving my life, but I didnât,â she mused. âThat tends to happen when youâre a homicidal maniac though,â she continued. The redhead nodded when Hayley mentioned that they no doubt made them from love vines and flowers. âYes. That was the only way they existed in the 10th or 11th century,â she said. Then she smiled. :âIâm sure you will and that theyâll be beautiful,â
Kassia laughed again at her comments. âThat would be quite the task for a human,â she commented. âHey, nothing wrong with a free babysitter. Though I have to admit, itâs very...strange, to try and picture Elijah changing a diaper,â
