i feel like everybody forgets about how devastating richard campbell gansey iii is- like as a character. i think we all get caught up in being heartbroken for adam, and for ronan but like. gansey is right there.

he feels like he gives too much and gets nothing back. he manages all the others’ problems without a single word of resentment. his attempts to help are pretty often met with contempt or literally just anger.

gansey feels like the importance that adam or ronan have in his life is not proportionate to the importance he has in theirs. and that is literally so sad, can we have a moment of silence to literally just love gansey, thanks so much.

People think this is just a joke but Alan Turing was the inventor of the computer and his sexuality was illegal in his time (which was not even 100 years ago) and he was arrested. They put him on drugs that destroyed his genius brain and committed suicide a year after being covicted. He was gay and a war hero as well. He helped to break enigma which was a German code that they put all their messages through. He shorted WWII by two years and saved so many lives in the process.

I think the reason I enjoy Ghibli so much is it romanticizes the little things. It makes me want to bake, study, clean the house, garden, and more while listening to happy music and occasionally picking wildflowers and lying in the grass. It helps me find joy in day-to-day life and that’s honestly sooo important for my mental health.
