I had a couple of asks in my inbox from back in May suggesting I draw a mermaid or octopus Binghe, so here he is belatedly, having teen romance delusions about Shen Qingqiu (who is a regular merman).

SVSSS head canon that throughout the years Liu Qingge gifted Shen Qingqiu upwards of hundred of those fuzzy furry creatures telling him to stew it.

Shen Qingqiu just gave them to Luo Binghe telling him he can do whatever with it but each one was intercepted by Ning Yingying who refused to let them get cooked. Luo Binghe doesn't really care so by the 3rd interception he would just send them straight to Ning Yingying. NYY loves the little fuzzballs so much she made Ming Fan build a giant 50 acre gated space where she could raise them, not only almost killing poor Ming Fan's back in the process but also infuriating SQH who somehow had to supply wooden fence pieces and gates enough to feed 15 generations of beavers.

At first they were just super cute lil fuzzballs, kind of like those spirited away susuwataris but as the years passed, each one grew to the size of a mammoth (lore accurate). Now NYY has an army of mammoth sized fuzzballs that she still makes Ming Fan take care of, the fuzzballs would bully and push Ming Fan around and Ming Fan would go snitch to NYY but the moment NYY comes the fuzzballs become super well behaved thus creating an almost decade long beef Ming Fan vs fuzzballs.

But after the encounter with the Huan Hua palace daughter (where she slapped NYY) even though NYY "slapped" her back, Ming Fan was furious. He's back home brushing the fuzzballs' coat both bawling his eyes out mourning shizun and also ranting about the palace mistress and how much of a bitch she is. The moment the fuzzballs hear what happened to NYY they see red and an instant friendship is formed between Ming Fan and the fuzzballs.

Legend says that there were many attacks on Huan Hua palace from Cang Qiong sect, 99% of which were from Liu Qingge. However, one night where sheets of rain fell from the skys and thunder boomed accross mountains, a crack of lightning illuminated the figure of a man. Throughout that raining night, one man and an uncountable number of mammoth sized fuzzballs reigned terror upon Huan Hua Palace, and when the rain cleared the next morning the little palace mistress was found with her face swollen to the size of watermelons from being slapped and backhanded so much.

But then theres also the issue of where tf was Luo Binghe during this whole encounter? My head canon is that he was like "oh great LQG is here for another beating", grabbed his sword and headed out, but the moment he saw the little fuzzballs he was reminded of his sizhun. His little maiden heart burst into pieces right then and there and he ran back into his room crying wuwuwu and hugging SQQ.
