this scene gets me so emotional EVERY! DAMN! TIME!

yuu is CRYING. he finally CRIES. his back is turned to everyone, and when he’s crying, grieving, he is finally not alone. he isn’t mourning alone. mika walks up and comforts him, holding his trembling hand, standing right beside him as they look at the hyakuya kids.

this quiet, internal vow also makes me emotional.

mika and yuu care so deeply for each other. and i’m really sad that mika, even when looking at his dead family, his mind immediately goes to yuu. how he has to keep yuu safe. like mika… you can mourn too… but i guess his vampirism gets in the way of his past feelings. i mean, for four years all he thought about was finding yuu, so i don’t doubt that the orphans were numbed out a bit… but man what i’d give to see them both crying while looking at the hyakuyas.
