currently,, yuu is more of an introvert or an extrovert? i feel like his personality has changed a lot since the beginning 🤔
tbh i’ve always seen him as an introvert
his childhood, he usually kept to himself. he kept to himself during the school arc. while he was lonely, he preferred to stay alone. he doesn’t really work well in teams. his communication isn’t all that great, he keeps to himself, keeps his emotions to himself.
people think just because he’s bubbly now, and that family is the only thing on his mind, that he’s an extrovert... but people don’t realize that extroverts get their energy from other people and not from themselves.
there are plenty of scenes where yuu is to himself.
(of course, alone =/= introvert, but introverts regain their social energy alone.)
but unlike yuu being like “man... i wish my friends were with me” he always seems to be in thought, almost like getting himself together.
idk, you can’t reverse introversion. just because someone has a more optimistic personality doesn’t mean they’re an extrovert.
i feel like after all the time yuu has spent alone and not letting people in, his brain would automatically associate social events = draining. idk how he does it.
also note, extroverts are naturally driven to introverts. introverts give their energy to extroverts who need it, and then introverts need alone time to grow energy back.
a lot of the shinoa squad i would consider to be extroverts, seeing how they constantly rely on each other to keep their spirits regained. yuu always manages to give himself spirit by himself, and then he gives it to his squad. that’s what introverts do.
i’d like a “yuu alone” arc, to see how he would do now, and to see if my analysis is true, but idk.
i’m an introvert. i’m super obnoxious and i ramble 1500 words a minute, but i can’t rely on others to give me my energy.
