Message from the organizer

Hello y'all, Eva here with important news regarding MYW24 and potentially subsequent years.

Sadly, I've decided I will not be running MikaYuu Week this year.

It makes my heart heavy to say so, but I currently lack the passion needed to organize such a large event.

I sat on this post for a really long time because I really hate what losing MYW would mean for the fandom. And more than that, I've run this event for 6 years in a row (1/4 of my life, as my friend pointed out) and letting go of it is like pulling teeth.

But ultimately, it's too much to try and pull together a 10+ person team of people who are similarly out of the fandom.

If others want to take over the week, please feel free! I'm happy to lend my knowledge! 🙏 Thank you!!

I don’t know if this seemingly final Mikayuu WIP can be reblogged on @mikayuuweek or not . But I have decided to reupload it here with approriate prompts tagged along.

At least for so much love and efforts plus memories I poured wirh Mikayuu for 7 or 8 years or so is compiled here.

Day 1:  Prehistoric Times —Stargazing

Way back when dinosaurs roamed the earth , Mika and Yuu were not human . Everytime they appear, everything is brought to live and stars ✨ shining everywhere. What could they be ?

Day 2:  Ancient Greece feat Day 3:  Medieval AU

So it turned out that they are Mermen Sirens in which Mika was the omnipotent God of Ocean / Poseidon/ Neptune while Yuu was siren of another tribe/ level / low class that didn't match to be Mika’s Goddess. Yuu lost his voice just to be with Mika . They fell in love desperately. After all the vicissitude , they are together, but became humans. Yuu got back his voice. Mika was no longer a God. The story went on up to the imagination of eveyone.

Day 4:  Walk in Nature

Well, in my art piece, they ( Pochacco Yuu and Cinnamon Mika )fly in the sky and climb in the tree , Mikayuu a humans walk and dance in the nature.... And Mika and Yuu as magical flying mermen swim and fly in the sea the ocean the forest ....the nature...

Day 8: Happy Birthday, Yuu-chan!

You and me , we are still hurt, but together, the pain is taken cared of , the sorrow decline.... You deserve peace and happiness . Wish you all the bestest of best
