Several of my friends have been deported over this legislation, families have been broken up, homes lost, businesses destroyed. And now as we can see, people who were conveniently never granted their official paperwork (as @ayeforscotland pointed out in one of the other reblogs) they’re starting to pull this shit and people who were born in the country are being told to get out. It’s beyond unreal.

Look at how casual it is in our society to promote female abuse towards men. We think nothing of it. Imagine if the genders here were reversed. So unless you’re ready to tell me that as a woman you expect and welcome the invasion of your privacy, the destruction of your personal property and/or other likewise behavior because women cheat, shut the fuck up.

Dudes if you find yourself with a girl or woman like this, dump her toxic ass immediately. Do not even waste your time trying to make her see how fucked up and abusive this behavior is. i’ve seen my boys get caught up with crazy ass controlling evil chicks doing shit like this and yet our society is hellbent on giving them a pass. we never call them out. we never put their feet to the fire. we never roast their asses but we always got something to say about men tho. always. yet women are carrying out all manner of abuses in relationships. shit is disgusting. and when we sit back and allow for the above and we don’t call it out, we normalize the idea that abuse from women to men is okay. this is how you normalize an idea and a concept. you keep repeating it in as many mediums as you can until people see and/or hear it so much that they accept it as fact, as logical, as normal. think about how we talk and treat domestic violence in this country.

i had a friend who was in physically abusive relationship with a girl who was the mother of his son and it was as fucked up as anything i’ve seen happen to a woman. the scratches to the face, the punching, having things throw at him and shit… it was fucking crazy. but it’s all funny right? we’ll put in everywhere that if a woman is mad at a guy, it’s okay that she slaps him. in games where it’s funny that a woman invades your privacy or wreck your personal property because “some chick texted my man.” however we all know if the genders were reversed it would be all types of shit! this is called normalizing and it’s fucked up. that’s why i’m mad. fuck @amandaseales. hotep. the fuck does this have anything to do with hotep? fuckouttahere with that bullshit!! bunch of fucking hyprocrites.

Abuse isn’t a gendered thing. I’ve seen my male friends being abused just as much as my female friends. In my Women’s Gender and Sexuality class, I learned that men often are not heard as much when it comes to abuse-a woman is more likely to be understood than a man. Men are just as likely to not report a rape (because yes, rape happens to men as well and to ignore that is ridiculous) as a woman is, if not more because their ‘masculinity’ will be tested by others. Toxicity is found in all genders, and all people. Now yes, toxic masculinity is a thing, BUT SO IS TOXIC FEMININITY. I took a college level gender class, and trust me-it’s a real thing and it’s more common than you think. Just like men need to own up to their mistakes, so do women. If a woman is demanding to see your phone every five minutes, won’t let you see your friends, says your cheating when you’re not, physically mentally or emotionally abuses you, manipulates you, or makes you out to be the villain and herself to be the victim, she is being abusive. She is using toxic femininity to her advantage, and it is NOT okay.
