Short conceptual photo series documenting objects that were significant enough to hold on to and were collected throughout the course of an 8 month romantic relationship which I am no longer a part of. Each object relates to a memory or specific experience from the relationship. I decided I had to document and mentally process each object that I thought was important enough to keep before I could set them aside or put them away. The goal of the series was to force myself to confront each memory individually as a way of retaining my own agency in the process of moving forward and dealing with loss, instead of passively allowing the situation to affect me.
