Basically how this scene went

That void kiss feels like two characters that are being forced to act out a scenario against their will

bcs the entity is John Wayne Gacy and naim is feeling a lot like his jr!!!!

Thinking about how naim felt more comfortable talking to entity ryan through the screen door because his guilt made him feel on par with a murderer (entity), and alienated from the actual person he loved (ryan)

So its easier for him to apologise to the entity bcs he knows he’ll be punished “accordingly” (thinking abt the screen door confessional booth imagery with naim wanting to be cleansed of his sins through the entity’s harm)

Similarly to how naim goes to the police after hunter is killed and comes out to the police officer, in a sort of confessional fashion where he isn’t facing her, bcs of the guilt he has for hunters death
