Sometimes I really get to wondering why Gordo went to the trouble of rebranding "Marty's" to "Gordo's." Like he isn't someone who seems to want a lot of attention brought to himself and it's a pain to change a business name and buy all new branding and everything.
The only reasonable in-character explanation I've been able to come up with was a young, drunk, angry Gordo- knowing Mark came back now and again to check on things- was like, "this mother fucker is going to have to drive past a neon fucking sign of my name every time he rolls through town."

post witcher 3 geralt bored in retirement takes a trip through velen cuz thereās no shortage of work. he ends up finding those orphans he once saved from rabid dogs near mulburydale still just slumming it in that half collapsed house and finds that the times have not been kind to them.
and he just. takes them home. to corvo bianco. the house is big, empty without his brothers and daughter there. his friends lead busy lives and visit once or twice a year if they can, which is nice, but leaves geralt alone, the king of a waiting castle. a lone parent in an empty nest.
without vesemir around he doesnāt have to keep up the pretense of witcher traditionāheās retired for fuckās sake. he can do what he wants. right?
kids need, deserve really, a safe place to grow up. geralt has more house and lands than he knows what to do with. and. .. there is so much he never got to do with ciri before she made a decision for the betterment of the continent and left to live her own life. he can.
he can be a dad again. just a dad. if he wants to. if theyāll have him.
and the next time his brothers drop by for a visit, they are met, for the first time in so long, once more, by wolf pups.
