Been a while!

I’ve been wanting to make an animatronic character that would exist in a wall frame. The goal would be that it could look around and talk to you.

Trying to learn Arduino coding and circuit building and the mechanics to build it at the same time. It’s a lot but it’s been a lot of fun so far. Spent the past month watching a ton of videos online to learn and more recently started trying to the build. This is the progress so far. I’m using lego technic pieces to figure out what kind of shapes I need. The goal would be to 3D print or machine other pieces for final assemblies

Also, I’m starting with a sock puppet to keep it simple for now. The goal would be to make many different creatures and monsters. Still don’t really know what I’m doing but having fun figuring it out.

Plant Light Rebuild: Kinda stuck while I figure out the Cheshire Cat piece, so working on rebuilding my old light garden in the meantime. Upgrading the sculpt, paint and lights. It’s also getting installed into a pot so it can be an indoor plant. :)

Been a while since I've really made anything. The end of last year was crazy for me and I had no time. But now I need to get back to it! Started working on a Cheshire Cat themed piece for my dining room. My cat loves that room so I decided to make it cat themed! The eyes and mouth are being made of a glow in the dark plastic so it will be visible when nothing else is. Also think I'm gonna make the face movable so you can change his expression whenever you want. Right now I'm working on the mouth.

Ant puppet I built for a friend! A friend asked if I could help build some props for her short. It sounded awesome and was super excited to contribute. This is the marionette ant puppet I build.

I built a fireplace for the office! I took an old iMac, downloaded a fireplace video, and built a foam fireplace around it.

My new office desk organizer! My boss at work was going to throw away a broken office desk organizer. I told him I could fix it so he said I could have it. I then took it home and repaired/upgraded it over the weekend. :)

Mr. Freeze!

It's finished!!!! The Mr. Freeze costume is complete!!

Mr. Freeze costume progress... Chest piece is basically done. Added a fan for ventilation. Currently adding a microphone inside so people can hear me from inside the suit. The only remaining things to finish is the freeze tank/ray, the boots and the blue underwear.

Working on my Mr. Freeze costume for Halloween. Got the dome's harness built. Next up: sanding and painting. Then the foam outer covering.

It's finished!!! The skeleton deer/bug mounted head thing*!! (*final name still being worked on...but for now let's call him Steve)
