Mike Morton is an incredibly lonely person when you really think about.
Taken from nothing, the only person who gave him āstabilityā (term used very lightly) was not exactly someone Mike could open up to.
Murro cared for him but I donāt imagine he was in any position to truly be a shoulder for Mike. And, even if he was capable of doing so, he eventually has Mike help him fake his own death, leaving Mike alone.
While he does care for Violetta, their interactions felt very superficial; More like a big brother to a littler sister he finds annoying.
And while Joker and Mike may have once been close Iām sure there was still a gap between them formed by Bernardās treatment of Mike vs the Others.
I also canāt imagine he was close to Margie much if at all as he seemingly enjoying Sergiās presence which I can imagine would force the two apart.
With that in mind the only person Mike could ever rely on was Bernard and when he was gone, when the rest of the circus left too, Mike had absolutely no one to help him clean up the mess. Itās no surprise he doesnāt talk about his true feelings, heās never had the chance to even do so if he wanted to in the first place.
