ugh my greek mythology au,,, okay not only do i want to separate these characters out by season. those who get here sooner = come earlier in the heroic timeline. the hotdogs + the risky fixins are in the heracles era, as opposed to the eras of the iliad and odyssey. NOT !! that there is no overlap in these situations (this is kind of on purpose) or debate as to when these two eras overlap. it's highly subject to the current myth you're reading. also i want to have FUN !!

if i ever were to write this out, i think i'd start with future brandon and the twelve labours, ending with the quantum relish so he can still travel back in time (using magic this time) to stop pam from killing dan. additionally, we can bring gene along and give him a very philoctetes-like story to compliment brandon's heraclean one. dan, on the other hand, lives much more in the realm of jason and the argonauts to me and i'd love to write him meeting rebecca on colchis and having her be replaced by pam later on

maizey is my odysseus through and through. the whole "i just want to get back to my wife" story rings very true with her. i almost want to make the trojan war = the chili wars and do some messing around with the mike soup/goondis story of it all. i keep going back and forth on whether or not i want to make achilles and patroclus parallels, or stick with my gut instinct and have mike's story reflect ajax the greater's to show his grief re: the civilian transport but keep him from killing himself, only so he'll die on egg-goondis's (circe's) island. which of course i could do both. the same way that maizey has to both reflect both odysseus and menelaus at once

when we're starting the trojan/chili war, I do kind of want it to reflect the way that pam ends up in charge of gebra's life in some way without a) entirely putting the blame on pam since she is working on the side of the dark master (who will end up having to play the roles of different gods at different points, but the issue of his change in position shouldn't effect the story since that happened a bit) AND b) without killing her, but making it so that she's unavailable somehow. I might go the euripides route and put her in egypt at least until the end of the war. then, ideally, gene would find her when stranded and be able to take her home in the tenth year of the war before maizey and mike ever figure out the two are still alive. that way the war has time to end before news gets back to the soldiers in troy and maizey will have the certainty of gebra being back home, waiting for her return, while she's unable to reach her in any way

my problem with goondis is that it's genuinely so hard to decide anything for him ?? he fits so well with the rage and fear and want for glory that makes up so much of the trojan war that he both goes everywhere and nowhere. but the most important thing is !! he cannot go home !!! I almost want to roll back the paytroclus thing and make him more of a hector-like figure who's fighting on the dark master's side ?? maybe he switches halfway through and that would be a whole dramatic scene where he and mike fight about the purpose of the war and why they're still fighting after so long, and what's really the point if nobody's even seen gebra, etc etc..
