I'm not going to sugar coat anything
I know i'm not well liked in these spaces, i tend to piss people off, I'm blocked by A LOT of people, especially big accs, and tbh I'm more than ok not being liked
but this isn't about me
this is about BTS
the guides I make are for everyone to use, regardless if you like me or not, the guides are not biased, they are meant to be used to help BTS
it's beyond me, and us, and it's about supporting the people who we love and want to see succeed
THE THING IS
and the thing is BIG *wink*
the thing is that here on tumblr, even from when i first started actively posting guides and curating this space, there has always been a HUGE resistance to streaming, and I get that, not everyone wants to stream, personal choices, ya know
BUT
We have such a big community here, literally A HUGE community, and we might not be as big as twt/insta/tiktok, and thats ok, honestly a lot of us are more than happy with this being smaller, more cosy.
and with that in mind, although we are small, we are also mighty
and so I want to challenge this space to prove that we can also contribute in a significant way.
RADIO
Radio is the fucking mountain - I keep saying this, but it's so true, radio has been so hard for us.
From 2016 ARMY who were calling DJ's, who were sending flowers, who were constantly emailing and messaging, ARMY has tirelessly worked to get BTS on the radio, even after we've been scrutinized, after they've made fun of us, or even when they were racists towards BTS, we've kept at it. We could have given up and not even bothered, but it's not about us and our pride and ego, because its about the of the weight radio holds
and so I ask this
If you don't want to stream, thats ok, I understand, but radio - sending tweets, calling, filling out the info in the links to request songs, that can be done from anywhere, it doesn't cost anything, its literally free, it only takes maybe 5 min of your day to send a request
I've even gone and made it so easy for all of us to reach out to them

because as I said, all I do, is learn these things for BTS, to help them, and aside from researching and curating everything, I alone can't make a difference, it has to be all of us, working together
and we might not like each other, we might not even know each other, and we might not even talk, but this pull that connected us together deserves recognition, it deserves support, and it deserves respect, and that pull is BTS
I challenge people to go after RADIO like we've never gone after them before, we can do this, I know we can. I'll do my part by posting tracking info and updates on where we are with radio
but I hope this challenge is reached far and wide, and that it is accepted, because any and all contributions matter, and I know we can do it,
we are after all the shield that protects BTS; ARMY
