I've been watching my mental health for the past 18 months; glad that depressing episode is over!

Today, a second student asked if there was another writing course "like mine" that they could take next semester.

Most students hate taking required courses, especially English language/composition courses that aren't credit bearing. But it was incredibly rewarding to hear and realize that they had been impacted in a positive way by my teaching, my lessons, by me(?) that they felt they wanted to continue.

I felt proud and delighted, that all my work over the past 16 weeks has paid off at least twice! :)

Ayer hice un deporte tradicional de las islas del Pacífico. Con una canoa tándem, salimos del canal Ala Wai hacia el océano. A veces me sentí mareaba en el mar, pero cuando remaba, me divertía mucho. ¡Pero qué duro, eh! Hoy, me duelen los músculos. El primer actividad que me gustó en este lugar. Me gustaría haber sabrdo antes.

¡Recogiendo cosas! En el sabado que viene, por fin me iré de Hawái. Tengo ganas de regresar a casa durante la navadiad, antes de mi segunda capítulo en Canadá.

Durante el puente de thanksgiving EEUU, fui a Vancouver y encontré a un group que se llama Spanglishers. Tengo ganas de volver en enero y verlos de nuevo.
