Hi! I have not answered this already, and I've ended up NOT answering this off the top of my head lol. I'm assuming you mean Avatar fics (although I am happy to give recs for any other type of fic I read, or just best ones I've read if that's what you meant?). I've made this stupidly extensive and long list sorted into categories of Spider fics (with some bonus Avatar fics unrelated to Spider that did rock). Here it is you are welcome.

What Spider Socorro Fic is Melissa Falling Asleep Thinking About?!?! Episode 2:

Today’s fic is Please be kind, please be gentle with me by @milesocorro which is a true banger. This author updates every day, which as someone who writes and edits for a living is wild and crazy and they should be studied. The way this author makes the most unique plot decisions fascinates me. I am obsessed with their handling of Spider/Quaritch’s relationship, it’s my favorite portrayal I’ve seen. I also adore Spider’s transition into the Metkayina, his iknimaya was incredible and such a fascinating transition. I love his and Kiri’s relationship so so much as well, ugh I love all of it. Also me and the author are besties in the comments now and I’m obsessed with it, if you vibe with me in the comments of your fics I will love you forever. Highly recommend, for the Spider-centric fans and the Spiri stans.

Low-key insane that they just left Spider with the bad guys. Like, even taking into account that they didn’t consider him part of their family (which I still think is bullshit by the way) the kid is, first of all, A CHILD who had no business being left behind and, Jake himself says it, a huge security risk. Someone who knows that amount of information about you and your people would be worth at least the thought of a rescue mission right? Someone who has no training as a soldier and whose only sin was calling you family would be someone you went to save, right? Right?
