Yesterday, my daughter turned one year old.🫂

One year ago, I gave birth to her in the middle of fear and uncertainty. I remember holding her for the first time and promising her that I would protect her, that I would give her a safe and warm home.

Yesterday, she turned one.

There was no . No decorations. No gifts🥹🥹.

But there was a quiet wish in my heart.
