Some souls arrive like the dawn—silent and unassuming, yet capable of lighting places within us we thought would remain dark forever.
I love the feeling of resting my head upon a pillow, wrapped in soft blankets, plush companions, and promises of dreams that never came true, yet also in the sweetness of feelings that never needed a promise to exist.
There is a quiet comfort in knowing that I do not carry the burden of having been cruel to those who did not deserve it. I think of the hearts whose old, restrained tears may never find their way out, and I wonder how many stories remain hidden behind ordinary smiles.
Even after being misunderstood for so many years, at such a young age, I find comfort in knowing that pain never took away my ability to be gentle.
“I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy; but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way.” Jane Austen, Sense and Sensibility.
"𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵." — 𝘑𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘈𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯
I love how Sense and Sensibility has a melodramatic Gothic hero who traveled the world as a soldier and had an angsty backstory and even during the events of the novel participated in a duel. But all of it's off-page so every time he appears he's just Some Guy. Kind of serious, doesn't talk much, pretty boring. His biggest passion is flannel waistcoats

Neither of us have anything to tell. I, because i conceal nothing and you, because you communicate nothing.
