Todomatsu stood dangerously close to King, trying to examine him. He was writing some notes on his phone as he did. Due to their height difference, he was having to stand on the tips of his shoes to try to get a better look.

And there it was, the change of heart. Wishmaker knew he could get through him one way or another. Thankfully he did, before he had to resort to last-minute ideas to try and convince the other.
“I extend my help to anyone, and everyone.” Wishmaker answers his question, “no matter what state they might be in, if they are struggling, or in a bad spot, I will be there to help them, always.” He smiles gently.
“However, there are people who have abused my power, or attempted to, anyway.” He frowns, looking away from Emperor. “But I trust you.”

He mumbled under his breath. Emperor crossed his arms, turning his gaze back towards Wishmaker. Maybe this wasn’t a bad thing after all ? Though, he was still understandably cautious. That wasn’t the god’s fault though, it was more of a byproduct of past events.
❝ but the help would be nice. but i ain’t sure exactly what i wanna wish for. ❞
Emperor furrowed his brows, trying to think.
❝ you’re the ‘god’ here so, you got any ideas ? ❞

And how very distrusting he seemed to be, even though Wishmaker attempted to come across as friendly and caring as possible, was it not enough? What would it take to get his point across to help?
“From what I’ve seen before appearing to you. You’ve struggled greatly with various problems. Those of the past, and even those in present time.” He states, arms folded across another. Even seemingly attempting to… raise a family? Is that correct?” Wishmaker questions,
“Does that answer your question?”
A pause. Emperor slowly nodded, seeming to become a bit less tense. His expression relaxed, but quickly changed to be a bit somber. At least he seemed like he cared ? That was more than he could say about most people. He was also the type to just .. Suddenly change his mind on something in a heartbeat.

❝ but why do you wanna help me ? ain’t there people more deserving of that kind of help out there ? ❞

A typical question that he always received from a new stranger that he’d appear to.
“I am a god. You may call me Wishmaker.” He states, ever so gently with a soft tone of voice. Though, it seemed that he might have gotten off on the wrong foot, seeing as how Emperor already seemed suspicious with his motives.
“Only very few things from what I’ve seen makes me concerned.” He responds, “However, I should let you know that I am not just some ‘kid’ can’t you tell?” Wishmaker states, stepping down from the fence, gracefully and gently landing upon the dirt. “I appear to those who seem troubled, or need assistance in some way. So I shall ask again, are you satisfied where you currently are in life?”
❝ .. yeah right. ❞
He still didn’t immediately trust him, and understandably so. He put down the tools he had been holding and stood straight up, placing his hands into his coat pockets.
Though, he was right. Emperor did need extra help. Mentally, and with his hectic home life. Taking care of .. God knows how many mutated versions of yourself that couldn’t read was hard enough as is. On top of that he had his own kids. A sigh left his body, looking a bit defeated as he tilted forwards.

He looked up and over at Wishmaker, looking less startled and more so confused. Emperor had just been fixing up his bike, when someone randomly appeared (literally) on the fence. While used to strange occurrences, he was not very comfortable with being approached randomly, especially by someone who seemed too curious.
