đđž CHIBI SAILOR MOON | USAGI TSUKINOđžđ
Usagi Tsukino
I started this back in August and am only now finding the time to finish it. It was so long, I had trouble figuring out what I was really doing with it, so I kinda screwed up âRukaâs pose a bit. It still looks okay, but itâs not as dynamic as the original sketch was. Anyway, drawing couples are soooo hard. On top of that, I plan to do some group pictures for some of the pictures in this series, because apparently Iâm a masochist. Look forward to that lol Prints are available via RedBubble, and the high-res version is available to my $3-Tier Patreon subscribers đ

âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
Haruka took some comfort in these words, so her companions were keeping an eye on things.
âMmâŠI have powerful friends on Earth, too. When something does happen, perhaps they will sense it. â
She sighed, some of the tension fading from her face as she did, it didnât mean that they should relax, but it calmed her down, a bit to know that they would probably be able to tell when something went down, and besides, she would feel it even more strongly, herself.

âIâm glad,â she replied. âI suppose I can tell you who has been helping me of late. In the old days, there were many secrets one way or the other, as that was the queenâs way for whatever reason. But these are not the old days.â She shook her head.
âThe castle guardians of Mercury and Venus-Sailors Marina and Magellan-have been assisting me. They are neither planetary or even moon senshi-rather, they were created out of their respective princessâ power. There is a third, however-a planetary senshi named Sedna whose home lies far beyond Pluto itself. There were many more senshi back in the old days, but I do not know where all of them are.â

âI thought I sensed several presences,â she replied. âSome somewhat familiar, some not. Those reborn have a similar aura to that they had in the past, but there are differences too, because with rebirth comes change in some form or fashion. Thatâs something to be celebrated, however, as one cannot expect people to always remain the same. At any rate, I have no doubt things are in good hands.â
âItâs been so long since I was on Earth...things have changed entirely. But again, thatâs not a bad thing. Iâm not entirely sure myself why I came now, but-well, something told me it was the right time.â

âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
ââŠ.I see. TskâŠâ
Haruka made a frustrated sound, squinting her eyes and balling her fists, as she looked up towards the sky.
She was grateful for the ability to sense something, and part of her knew that they would find out what was happening, eventually, but she wasnât exactly patient when it came to these things, especially if she could be doing something about it, now.
âDamn it, if only we had more information.â
@milleniumkeeperâ
âAgreed,â Tamashi replied. âI donât sense any immediate danger, but that doesnât mean we should let down our guard. If itâs any consolation, we do have other allies up there, on the moon and elsewhere monitoring things. Though if anyone senses anything from up there, it will probably be Sedna. In spite of her appearance, sheâs been around for many years.â
âChances are, you might meet her someday. I met her for the first time years ago. Sometimes she knows when things are going to happen. And sheâs been protecting many things all these years.â
âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
Haruka still sort of found the girlâs story hard to believe, but then again a lot of unbelievable things had happened since she had first awakened as a senshi. Nodding, she listened, finally deciding that it might be okay to trust her; she did not sense any evil energy from this girl, after all, and what other reason would this person have to lie to her about this?
ââŠI see.,â she said, now turning her attention back to the wind. âWhat is happening?â
@milleniumkeeperâ
Tamashi shook her head. âDown here? Iâm not sure. I sensed many of you awakening down here on Earth some time ago, so I was waiting for an opportune time to both introduce myself and offer aid if need be. On the moon, things are relatively peaceful and quiet-the rare visitors we do have are other senshi-either moon or castle senshi from our system, or from elsewhere.â
âI can sense a bit of change coming in the air all of a sudden as well, though whether that is due to my own appearance or something else I cannot say.â

âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
She nodded, and smiled gently, though made no note of the shock on the otherâs face. âAnd I am Sailor Juliet, a moon senshi designed to protect you, actually. It was a position given to me by Queen Serenity to protect my true identity as her niece and the princessâ cousin. Though until this conversation, that remained a secret between Queen Serenity, myself, and a choice group of senshi that have been helping me rebuild. Well, as much as I can.â She paused.
âThe castle will never be completely restored until the princess chooses to make it so, but after things...happened the way they did, I was asked to come to the moon, rebuild what I could, and protect what was left for the one to come. â
âI will also tell you that my own powers center mostly around fog and keeping things hidden, as well as protection of souls who need it. I can wield spirit energy of a sort, as well as a slight amount of energy from the moon. While I can sense things on the wind like you, it isnât always a sure thing, and most of what I know has been told to me by spirits themselves. It sounds rather complicated and unbelievable, but I have no reason to hide anything from you.â
âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
Haruka nodded; perhaps this girl had sensed her, and thought that she was one of her friends whom she had been searching for.
âHmm..â So she wanted to help. Haruka wanted to work with her, but she needed to make sure that the princess was safe, and besides, she wasnât even sure what was happening, yet. She also still was not very clear on a few things.
âWhere are you from?â she asked, wanting to know a little bit more about this person, especially if they were to battle together.
@milleniumkeeper
âThe moon,â Tamashi replied, smiling wistfully. âThough it is not where I was born-that much I do not know of myself. Before that, I spent many years on Uranusâ moon of Juliet. Technically that is the most âhomeâ for me, but circumstances have kept me on the moon for many years. A mission, if you will.â
âThere is no harm in me telling you, but basically I hold in trust something for its rightful owner. The reason I was chosen for such is due to a connection I have to said owner, though that fact was kept secret in the past.â
âWhat I have kept and tried to rebuilt is not yet complete, and likely will not be until the rightful owner claims it. But I hold it in trust nonetheless, and it looks a lot better than it did before.â
âThere is something strange in the wind, tonight.â
Haruka prepared herself, in case she needed to attack in fact, she almost did, until the last second, when she realized that the form stepping out from the shadows belonged to an innocent person. She blushed, thinking that maybe the âattack first and ask questions laterâ method wasnât always the way to go, though she still remained confused, watching the individual with caution, as she regained her composure. As far as senses went, she had heard of a few people being able to do it, but up until now, she had thought that she was the only one with a strong connection to the wind.
âMy apologies, though, you are right, I do not recognize you. Who are you and why are you here?â
@milleniumkeeperâ
âSorry about that,â she apologized again. âHoshi Tamashi is my name, though you may call me Tamashi if you wish. Iâm here because Iâm searching for some people I once knew, and others I only knew of. People Iâve been waiting for for a very long time.â She paused.
âItâs a bit of a long story and sounds suspicious on the surface. I wouldnât mind explaining it all to you, but itâs something most people find hard to believe. But the people Iâm searching for-Iâll know them when I meet them. And I mean them no harm-in fact, I hope to help them if I can.â
She actually wouldnât have blamed Haruka if the other *had* attacked first and asked questions later-it was not unlike the person like her she knew long ago.
