Tonight I self harmed again. Itās been years. I need an outlet. I couldnāt get it out my mind. Itās been this way for weeks now, and itās only gets more intense. So tonight I caved in. I feel depressed. I want to keep going, but I canāt because I donāt want to make my body look worse than the potential consequences going deeper. Iām tired. Iām done really. This life isnāt it for me anymore, I want to go home now. Guides, when will it be my time? I donāt want to keep doing this anymore,
how to deal with stress and worry
ask yourself ..
1) is it in my control ?
2) can i change the outcome ?
if the answer is (yes) then do something about it. do what will make you most comfortable and calm. if you donāt have to stress and worry, then donāt. i know sometimes we often put ourselves through unnecessary situations maybe because we donāt want to hurt someoneās elseās feelings or we donāt know how to address certain things etc. and that leaves us with this pit in our stomach, stressed and feeling uneasy. try to deal with the situation in a caring way that also relieves you from the suffering. you have to make yourself and your feelings a priority and do what you can to make life easier for you.
if the answer is (no) then you must try to let it go. completely. you canāt allow it to ruin your day, you canāt allow it to make you depressed. all stressing does is harm the mind and the body. take comfort in the fact that itās out of your hands. come to terms with what has to happen and make the best out of that situation. when you rid the mind of worry and sadness, you make room for positive thoughts.

letās say you have to get dental work done, instead of stressing about it, make plans for afterwards with friends or family to have an icecream and movie date at home (when you feel up to it of course)

doing small things like this gives you something to look forward to even though you have to do something that you donāt particularly want to do. itās the best way to turn an unpleasant situation thatās out of your control into something a bit more positive/enjoyable .
