[She lets out a shaky breath.] I’m sorry. Sorry I snapped like that, I just… [She rubs a hand over her face nervously] I’m just tired. Had little sleep lately.
No, it's okay. [Licks her lips.] You should, uh, ask a Hypnos kid for some help with the sleep.
To talk about what ? That my grandmother’s still in the hospital, that the doctors don’t even know if she’ll survive anymore because her state suddenly deteriorated after her surgery when everything was supposed to be okay ? That I don’t know why the hell my powers don’t work anymore and I don’t know if they’ll ever work again ? Or that I’m not even sure to have a boyfriend anymore because this sarcastic little shit keeps being a weather-vane when it comes to our supposed relationship ? Do you really want to know, Millie ?
[Her eyes widen slightly as she listens and when Anna finishes, she sighs.] I kind of know now. [She sighs again and shakes her head.] I'm sorry, Anna.
How do you know you have a crush on someone ? What does that even mean anyway ?
[Millie opens her mouth to speak and then closes it, shrugging.] I don't even know myself. I think I've had a crush only three or four times in my life? They just give you butterflies in your stomach and make you smile no matter what they're doing, I guess. [She smiles.] Why?
[He closes his book with a grunt, frustrated, and leans against the headboard of his bed.] Millie— I’ve got a question, actually.
[She nods and then moves from her bed to his, sitting on the end of his bed.] Go on.
[She glances at Millie quickly over her shoulder, apparently hesitating. Finally, she turns around to lay on her back.] If you’re looking for Jagger, I don’t know where he is, and honestly I didn’t properly see him since that time when we fought about something completely stupid. [Her face hardens then and, almost immediately, she goes bak to her first position.] I don’t wanna talk about it.
I was but-- [She shrugs and sits down on the edge of her bed.] Anna, it's good to talk.
[He’s been staring at the same page of his book for the last ten minutes, a deep frown on his face]
[Raises an eyebrow.] Did you forget how to read?
[Laying in her bed, she’s turning her back at the cabin and just stares at the wall covered with climbing flowers. Most of them are starting to wither, something that didn’t happen since she was fourteen. She doesn’t even move when someones enters her bedroom.] What do you want ?
[Walks into the Demeter cabin looking for Jagger. Instead she finds Anna, who appears to be sleeping. Millie thinks about leaving before she notices the withering flowers. She looks around before walking over and that's when Anna speaks.] Oh. You're awake. [She looks around uneasily.] Anna, what's going on?

Well you’d think nine years of practice would be enough.

Yeah, see but I’m no where. I barely even made it halfway up and this is what happens. [gestures to the state of his clothes and skin]
[Raises her eyebrows.] Practice makes perfect.
[sighs and heaves himself up, looking down at his singed shirt with a frown] Somehow, I don’t think I’ll be breaking your record.
[Places her hands on her hips.] One year. That's not that bad. One rotation around the sun.
[ She huffed, pulling out her dagger out of the stuffed dummy’s heart. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, she glanced over at the stranger. ]
That was nice.
[sits up after falling hard from climbing wall, his clothes smoking and several scratches on his arms and face] Nine years and I still can’t do the damn thing.
[She chuckles and looks down at the ground to hide her smile. She looks back up when she's composed herself.] Well, if it makes you feel any better, it took me ten to master it completely.
[He nods, looking at his bed and moving to sit as well.] Okay.
[Looks at the things he brought and notices a guitar.] Do you play? [She points to it.] Guitar I mean.
Okay.. i’ll tell him when I see him next, promise. [ She sighs ] I don’t want him to be mad or hurt.. even if i’m kind of mad at him right now.
[She nods.] Good. He'll be hurt, you know that. But if you hide it longer, he'll just be even more hurt when he eventually finds out.
