Slowly but surely the Schoolcraft home and shop is taking shape and the exterior shell is coming together. Besides the overhead doors, a cupola and concrete, the Westville barn is a wrap! Josh's crew absolutely knocked this one out of the park and where once stood a crumbling old barn, now there is a bigger, better and ready to last a lifetime barn! Love it! Amazing what a few details can do to dress up a post frame building. Painted doors, clipped corners, faux loft door, Turkey tail, entry door overhang and stone wainscot all come together to make this one charming little barn! Here's a fun little shot of a vaulted porch entrance we framed up at the Knox shop/home. Owner is finishing it with tongue and groove planking underneath and some custom beamwork to really make it pop! Love little details like this!
