recently my irl friends have been making alterhuman (specifically therian) type jokes n it’s kinda gotten under my skin because my kins and theriotypes are such a big part of me because before i found out these term i was like almost ashamed to call myself a person because of how different i felt compared to other people. my alterhumanity coexists with my neurodivergence and like…i don’t know how to say it to them without sounding like a chronically online jerk. like i’m not mad at them i know my experiences are like….unique but i wish they could be more mindful.

We should talk more about how much alterhumanity overlaps with neurodivergence because its like... a LOT. I've seriously met almost no completely neurotypical alterhumans.

This post was inspired by me realizing that what I've been thinking of as "stress shifts" were actually overstimulation/sensory overload and the reason that I lose the ability to speak human language in overwhelming situations and can just, like, snarl at people, is only partially because im a dog.

i recently saw a post criticizing gerard way for not being as progressive as his community and fandom paints him to be and after reading a bit… i have to say that i kinda agree.

the only members of mcr who openly speaks up against racism and other issues is frank, and ray (with that one twitter post of him saying hes going with his family to a rally)

gerard only spoke about blm when the community BEGGED them say something. hes married to a PAST racist (of course i can’t talk about lynz now, i don’t know her personally), and is friends with pedos. they aren’t a saint, they aren’t all righteous. they have flaws.

when i say i hate millionaires, i mean all. including mcr. of course i like their music, but i feel like with all the messages and the entire killjoy thing, they could be doing more donating or just more ANYTHING in these times.

i’m not going to immediately stop supporting them, i love the band they helped me through stuff, and gerard isn’t the only member, but going forward i want to be more critical of celebrities actions and virtues. i’m not saying gerard is a terrible right wing nut, i’m just saying that with his platform he could be doing SO. MUCH. MORE.
