Amy in my Sonic AU! I made her a skunk because I thought there were too many hedgehogs and. skunks are neat 🤷🏻

her elder sister is Geoffrey St. John from Archie Comics, now Freya the Skunk bc I transed his gender 👍🏻

A few notes:

- Amy and Freya’s parents were two of Eggman’s top Egg Bosses, but disappeared under mysterious circumstances when Amy was very young

- Due to their large age gap, Freya raised her sister more like a parent than a sibling

- Amy eventually ends up with Metal Sonic because the real Sonic is very much unattainable/uninterested lol

- Based her design off Amy’s earliest appearance as Rosy the Rascal!

Thinking about Sonic 3 again, I've seen a lot of people blaming Jim Carrey for how bad the movie is. Which I get, he takes up FAR more of the movie than he should, but I do want to point out that he's not the one who made those decisions. That lies with the writers, director, etc Which is why I really don't trust how the fourth movie will be done, regardless of whether or not it has Jim Carrey in it. It's not about Jim Carrey's performance, it's about how the people in charge of the SCU have prioritized that over everything else. The decision to revive Gerald and dedicate that much time to him rather than Shadow, the main draw of the movie, or Rouge, the other main character introduced in sa2, or even Amy, a character introduced YEARS before Shadow, tells me all I need to know about who they're making these movies for, and it's not Sonic fans
