hello all!
i’m currently taking this semester off to focus on my mental health. luckily i am not going to be behind on credit hours when i return in january. this break has been really good for me so far and i’m really glad i made this choice.

Lab is all dressed up for Christmas! Lately I’ve been spending more time at the lab than I have been at home, especially since it’s a nice place to study. Studying with @photoplankton as per usual, eating pizza as per usual.

learning japanese using tae kim’s guide! apparently my friend managed to get her japanese to N5 level just by a few years of watching anime and no formal lessons?? i think that’s amazing - i’ve been watching anime for a year (i used to just read manga) and so far i’ve only been able to pick up basic phrases…
