Last night I had a dream about you

The sun is dying. They say a winter’s looming more cruel than anyone remembers. Out there in the wilds you’re never alone, not when eyes peer at you always from the treeline. What made the world this way? It wasn’t always so, but here be monsters. I am very excited and scared to announce that I am making a game: T. axonomy. I’ve been planning this for years, and our current unique circumstances have given me a once in a lifetime chance to take the leap and start working on this dream. T. axonomy is a monster game where the choices you make will shape your monsters into something unique. It’s an expansive hand-drawn world of forests and ruins you can lose yourself in and ancient secrets you may piece together one fragment at a time. Over the next few months while we’re working on the demo I will be introducing you to the monsters, maps, and mechanics! I’m so grateful for all the support I’ve received up to this point, and I hope you’ll all be coming on this journey with me.

day nine! prompt was ‘early route needs a rodent so make a fat, and I mean fat hamster with saberteeth’. wasn’t originally a winning roll but i thought that was so funny that i rerolled it and got lucky. this dude has been one of the smash hits of the dex so far! not bad for a route 1 rodent. i didn’t make these gifs but i had to share them with this dex entry, they’re just beautiful. i imagine this dude being able to open his mouth really wide and store opponents attacks in his cheeks, and then return them the next turn.

Day 5, more early route birds! Prompt was ‘early bird shitmon based on this lil guy that lives on a mud house https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornero’

The first stage carries the entire nest round with it, which becomes a helmet in the later stages. The twigs in the middle stage get covered in mud to become the horns of the third stage. I did the backsprites for these wrong, so expect updated backsprites at some point soon!
