Remake del Opening realizado para "CR FEVER MACROSS", el Juego Pachinko/Pachislot de MACROSS, lanzado en 2009.

Interpretado por Makoto Fujiwara, "MACROSS" es el Opening de la serie "Choujiku Yousai MACROSS" a.k.a. "Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS" de 1982.

El intérprete de "MACROSS" originalmente era Isao Taira (conocido cantante de series de mechas de la época), pero finalmente se optó por la versión de Makoto Fujiwara.

El single MACROSS/RUNNER (EP) alcanzó el puesto número 1 en la lista anual de 1983, en la categoría de "TV MANGA/Canciones infantiles" del ranking Oricon.

"MACROSS" fue la canción ganadora en la categoría "ANIME SONG" en la quinta edición del "ANIME GRAND PRIX" realizado en 1982.
