I'm starting to get into sewing again (does it count if the last time I tried anything was when I was 8? idk. The machines from like the 1960s and definitely needs a repair lol)(More under the cut, it's long, I rambled, Alot...)

It's gonna be a small dress (using a pattern obviously) for my niece! It probably won't turn out good (I have no idea what I'm doing) but it would be nice for her to have something cute to wear when she gets older (Instead of some half-rotting Gucci thing the grandparents would give her though she's a girl so...)

Honestly even I don't trust the dad to ever accept it. I mean his entire family is like wealth obsessed, like he's literally named after male fashion brand and gave his daughter who kinda stopped caring abt during the pregnancy when he found out it was girl a middle name based on a sports car brand.

We don't even know what happened to the baby dress my mom knitted, we just know that it "Wasn't a baby dress" or was "For Toddlers" or something weird like that. I mean have you seen photos of babies? 6 month olds are pretty large in comparison to a 1-2 month olds. Like dude just wait a bit she'll get chubbier and taller in a bit. I hope he didn't or his mom didn't throw it away, I mean it took her weeks to make it and if they didn't like it they could've returned it or at least donate it I guess. I'm gonna argue it's personally made for her and thus haute-couture so he has to accept it

Idk I'm just rambling about personal things, which I kinda what this blog was partially made for. We'll be looking for a light yellow or green fabric in an hour for the dress which will be pink! (Preferably pale yellow bcs Year of The Snake though green is also valid) (I guess Mimo-Rants is a tag now..)
