Not quite the case. The Republicans, by doing the Texas redistricting, have declared the pre election redistricting to be legal. That is being challenged in federal courts.

While awaiting the federal court decision, the Democrats are doing to the Republicans exactly what the Republicans did to them, using as precedent, the fact that the Republicans themselves declared the tactic to be legal.

If the Democrat's lawsuit loses, all the pre election redistricting will be legal. If they win, all of the pre election redistricting, including their own, will be tossed out by the federal courts.

Trump personally started this with his phone call to the Texas Republicans asking them to redistrict Texas to gain 5 more House seats. Republicans are now yelling unfair because their own improper tactics are being used against them.

The honest people on both sides want the Democrat lawsuit to win, tossing out all of this pre election redistricting.

Or you could just oppose gerrymandering period. I agree with you that that's what it is, but because I'm not a hypocrite and actually care about that belief that it's bad I oppose it even if my side would benefit from it.

Anyone who complains that Texas' redistricting is unfair hasn't seen how fucking atrocious the previous map was. You had one district that stretched between two cities with an umbillical cord, another that was quite literally the shape of the political distribution in the area, and god forbid we cover the layered onions making up the metropolitan areas.

People are saying this shit while forgetting Ghislaine Maxwell was a reddit supermod for years. And of course, let's not even get started on what Epstein was involved with in terms of the LGBT. Seriously. You have people from George Bush to Michael Moore to Biden to Elon implicated here, not to mention Representative Plaskett, who was taking direct orders and messages from Epstein who somehow has been forgotten about and actively defended. This is not a situation to try and absolve pedophiles just because they politically agree with you. This was an active and practiced effort to turn politics into the chaotic, tribalistic hellscape it is today, and evoking this bullshit is the crap they want.
