I SAW UR TAGS SAYING THAT YOUR WYNN OC IS A SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR TASIM AND LIKE..... MINE TOO TWIN WE'RE MATCHING....... Tasim is his big brother figure he means the world to my oc
do you have a tag for your oc..... im nosy as hell 👀
Im not good at drawing, so i havent been able to make much stuff about my oc, but i AM good at writing!
....so I shall write some stuff about her now!
The big thing about my oc is that she's effectively immortal. Her two main abilities is that she always revives after she dies (she cant control this, tho she tries), and she's proficient in fire magic. The ability to revive is big, because it was the sole reason why she became a hero in the first place. When she arrived to Wynn with Tasim and Aledar, she was just gonna become like a baker or smth. But then she died... in the tutorial area... BUT THEN SHE REVIVED AND SURVIVED.
This was the wake up call she needed. Realizing that she can't die, she threw herself right back into the shredder. Taking each death as a lesson to teach herself how to become a better fighter. During Elemental Exercise, she learned about her natural affinity for fire magic and began to practice that too. She regularly trained with Tasim and Aledar in the barracks (and eventually developed a crush on them--- cough cough).
This makes what happens later devastating. Tasim leaves for Gavel, and Aledar chases after him. She writes letters to both of them, but... neither of them reply. She feels lonely and abandoned.
The feeling of loneliness follows her throughout the game. With each important death hurting more than the last cuz it makes her feel ALONE again.
Afelis dying to tiontith beasts Phoenix couldve taken herself. Lari going MIA after she chases after Bak'al in ROL. Axelus dying because Phoenix was too cowardly to move from her spot and take the hit for him. Gurix going missing because she was too scared to save him (so many villagers around...). Relend dying because she couldn't stop him in time when they made it to That Place.
When she DOES meet people who don't die after she talks to them, she still feels lonely because she's just not important enough to them. Maxie has Rhay and Ava and the ENTIRE Corkus Council. Ava is busy with Maxie and her machines. Korzim is busy liberating their people. Olon (in Phoenix's eyes) prefers to be alone and seems busy anyway. The orcs are busy with making amends with the villagers and keeping themselves alive.
This makes Aledar's death so painful. And even more so, cuz im sticking to pre-fruma Aledar.
Phoenix is ECSTATIC to see Aledar when Elphaba pulls her into the mission, but then deflates when Aledar doesn't look the same. After Elphaba and Lucio dies, she begs and pleads to Aledar to call the mission off. But, Aledar is stubborn, so she relents. She just met him for the first time in years... she doesnt want to make him mad :(
At the end, when Aledar tells Phoenix that she was supposed to be sacrificed because she had "no relations, no loved ones, and no way to deny her fate", she crashes out. Hard. One of the only people she truly loved... confessing that he never loved her back at all. Confessing that he never even saw her as a FRIEND. Phoenix completely shutsdown.
She tries not to let Aledar's words get to her, but its hard. If Aledar--- one of the only people she truly loved and trusted--- couldnt love her back... who could? She becomes obsessed with becoming loveable. Memorable, even. She sinks all of her time becoming a grand hero for all three major landmasses. The entire time, she just wants to prove Aledar wrong. That she's capable of being LOVED. That she's capable of being WANTED.
The desperation to be loved and stop being lonely hits her hard. Because all of her heroics and all of her adventures arent working. The crave for companionship and connection isnt being fulfilled. Being a bigger hero didnt help, it only made everything worse. She didnt become loveable, she just became popular. And putting herself on a pedastal just made the isolation and loneliness feel more pronounced.
She's got one person left, and its Tasim. When it becomes Craftmas, she intentionally avoids talking about Aledar. If Tasim couldnt handle being told that he was Cursed, how could he handle being told that his best friend (and psuedo lover) tried to kill both of them? She's desperate to keep the last person she's got left by her side. She's lost so many friends. She cant lose him too. Not another. PLEASE.
I have so much more to talk about, but i wanna hold off spilling all of the Fruma stuff for my fic (shameless advertising LMAO im so sorry). I love my wynn oc Phoenix :>
HOLYYY i went on a tangent! Sorry about that >.>
Maybe i should make my wynn oc a tag...
