Hereβs some Details of the Inspiration on Tigerβs Dress if youβre curious:
I feel like if Tiger were to wear a dress to somewhere βfancyβ or just to SHOW OFF HIS STUNNINGNESS, he has to wear a dress that represents HIM and where heβs from. SOOOO ALOT OF THIS is either very symbolic to Tiger or something related in Japan Culture.
I wanted to have a base for the dress so I chose THIS style of dress to design. (This dress is more resembled a Kimino, but more modern)
Decided to design the patterns with Tiger Stripes becauseβ¦ well TIGER- But to take it a step FURTHER and reference the patterns somewhat similar to Old Japan art of how they drew them years ago. Much more swirly and bold, which I like!! :) Canβt really let it be without drawing a Tiger on the dress, so I (tried my best) drew a Tiger that resemble from the Old Japan Art (It looks abit wonky on my part- OH WELL~ Β―\_(γ)_/Β―)
The dress being designed to look like it was torn apart from the bottom is very intentional, which references Tigerβs injuries on his arm. Torn from below the dress is symbolic of his injuries from the past, moved on and healed from it, which contrast his bandaged arms.
Lastly, I wanted to reference Tigerβs SPEED in the dress. When it comes to Speed, I usually associate it with AIR or WIND,Β so I searched up anything in Japanese Culture to get inspiration.Β Thatβs where I found out about FUJIN, The Wind God in Japanese Folklore. In his famous art of him from Old Japan, he is seen holding a Bag of Wind. I donβt know how to design it with an ACTUAL Wind Bag, so I changed it to a Scarf that represents the Wind Bag. More scarf fabric is incorporated into the dress to have more motifs to represent FUJIN.
RAHHHHHHHHHH I FORGOT Tiger's ponytail hairstyle is just a reference to an old artwork of Tiger I did here with Miko as well, with his hair tied up.
Thatβs pretty much it for the inspiration of the design of the dress- HOPE YOU LIKE IT!! β¨πππππππβ¨ Took awhile to make-
Also, since we are here, If I unintentionally inappropriate some things with the design, DO LET ME KNOW!! Especially since I'm not Japanese or raised in Japanese culture and the LAST THING I wanna do is appropriate a culture. If there are ANY CORRECTIONS, IβLL CORRECT THEM HERE! π

The writers were TOO SCARED TO MAKE THEM THE ULTIMATE β¨GOOD RIVALS SOLIDARITYβ¨ FRIENDSHIP!! THEY COULDN'T HANDLE ALL THAT
In my mind (headcanon), they became friends through Shakes and Tiger when 4 of them decided to hangout at the same time. They already knew each other through the "Balls 4 All" fiasco, Ms. Altivo's "Soccer Island" show and the "All Stars" Friendly Match, but didn't get the chance know more about each other or to exchange numbers. The hangout really helped them become friends more. They like each others vibe enough to plan more hangouts~
They would DEFINITELY would give each other hair tips and compliment each others hair when getting the chance. They would have a "One Up Compliment Battle" with each other. They would, YOU CANNOT TELL ME OTHERWISE. β¨HUMBLE VS HUMBLEβ¨ DYNAMIC!!
Also like the idea Miko came to one of their hangouts looking EXHAUSTED from his match against one of the rival teams (that is known to cheat-) from the constant cheating.
Riano sympathies by saying, "OHHH I get you, my friend.. It reminds me of that one time I got trapped by Toni Vern's trap, few minutes before the match starts... Weirdly, there was this other guy too in that trap. Didn't see his face, we were in separate traps. He helped me figure out how I get out from there. Nice fellow. Hope he's doing well now. We talked about Paella in our conversation, don't know how that came up-"
And slowly, but surely, Miko turns at him with the BIGGEST REACTION ON HIS FACE, his eyes wide as ever, shouted from the core of his lungs, "THAT WAS YOU?!?!?!?". Then Riano turn in surprised with, "THAT WAS YOU?!?!?!? YOU WERE PAELLA GUY?!?!"
And it then hit them that they DID know each other before this. Before the "Balls 4 All" fiasco. BEFORE Ms. Altivo's "Soccer Island" show. (Maybe after the "All Stars" Friendly Match-) They just didn't recognized each other without the faces-
"No wonder you sounded familiar..." Riano saying that after finding out this discovery-

(I LITERALLY need to watch the Heathers the Musical for context- Just so you know buddy and everyone reading this IT FRICKIN' BROKE ME AND LITERALLY NEED TO TAKE A BREAK FOR A WEEK AFTER- Definitely not a Musical to watch if Dark Comedy isn't your thing-)
@emodonnie made a post about "Which Supa Strikas character would cast as WHO in Heathers" here. Choose Shakes as Veronica Sawyer because GUYS... Main character has to be the MAIN CHARACTER LMAO- Spenza is definitely Martha Dumptruck because she is the best friend of the main chracter and both (unfortunately-) gets bullied because of their appearance. :( (Also MARTHA IS UNDERRATED!! I WANT NOTHING BUT HAPPINESS FOR THAT SWEET WOMAN!!! β¨β¨β¨β¨) ALSO change spenza's attire abit more sea theme to fit with his hat- IDK LOL I did kept the pastel attire for him~ :3
El Matador is a GIVIN' to be Heather Chandler because he gives off mean girl energy folks- Would literally have his own lil' group of people to admire him (LITERALLY LIKE IN "El Matador Finds Himself S4E8"- ππ)
I DEFINITELY see Klaus as Heathers McNamara because she's the only one who isn't actually mean and was only pushed over because of the other Heathers.
I changed ONE thing about it, and that is making Automatic as Heather Duke!! I feel like Automatic fits more as Heather Duke because it's Canon he was a Striker (??) for Supa Strikas and he was seen as El Matador's partner in Rookie Season. Alot of people speculate/headcanon that Automatic feels bitter that he was sided in RS, just like how Heather Chandler was being mean and sided Heather Duke, so..... YEAH- (PLEASE SAY YOU SEE MY VISION WITH AUTOMATIC-)
It's REALLY Messy looking- I TRIED to salvage it but the paper is not COOPERATING ONCE AGAIN- This is the best I could manage to save it- I hope you still like it despite it's flaws bud- π

I finished drawing them back in Nov 2024 (you can tell by the old style-) and WAS going to post it after the Inyo Artwork I made last year, but didn't have the time to colour them in because busy with college at the time. So I'M FINISHING THEM NOW!!! Not the best, BUT I'M HAPPY I DID MY BEST AT LEAST!! >:D (FINALLY MY GUILT FOR NOT FINISHING THIS HAS LEFT MY BODY!!!! RAHHHHHHHHHH)
