my ideal 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea adaptation

In order to faithfully recreate the experience of reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea on screen, I believe that adaptations should occasionally shift their score and filmography dramatically and abruptly from a typical narrative format to an all-out David Attenborough-style nature documentary and then back again as if nothing particularly unusual has happened - you know, like a movie musical, except instead of bursting into song when emotions run high, the characters start info-dumping about fish.

Also, I think that for comedic purposes, this should be non-diegetic for everyone except Ned.
