So there’s this story of mine

This is @totaleclipse573! I’ve decided to make a separate blog for all things relating for my own original story! Mostly I made this as a place where I can share any art, lore, rambles, or just whatever relating to this story I enjoy very much <3

There will be more stuff on here over time, drawing humans/humanoid characters isn’t my strong suit yet, but I am practicing!

Thinks about how the severity of Willow's "I'll do what I think is right by my own means" gets worse as the story goes on. Her intro into the story (16) is her getting sent home from a school fight she started over what she deems unjust. Give it 1 or 2 years down the line and she finds herself willing to kill over what she deems unjust. Over the things and the people she wishes to protect. Maybe after 3 she does a little. Maybe she does get to do some murder. Maybe some people are growing concerned. Maybe she thinks about the fact that she was made to be a weapon in the first place and it shows. Maybe she doesn't care so long as she can protect who she cares about, they don't need to worry about her right now. They and they alone matter in the long run. If others are saved in the process that's all well and good, of course, but she knows where her priorities lie. She knows how to put these twisted abilities of hers to use, to her benefit. Never mind the inner questioning that comes with. She can...she can deal with that later. Not now when there's too much to lose. She's so unwell. head in my hands. ohmy god.

What if I changed things a bit so that Vulto (well. the old one.) and Artemis were childhood friends who were both pretty messed up ages and ages ago but had to drift apart but Artemis heard about her friends death so seeing them again all that time later when both have changed for the absolute worst is like. am I making any sense here its childhood friends to toxic yuri. Artemis being quick to trust her because. Oh its you. I know you. But you still gotta prove yourself. Because I know you. AUGHGFHH

tbh im not entirely immune to a villain with a tragic backstory but i do think villain origins are a lot more interesting when the focus is less "here is the original sin, the first big bad thing that happened to them that made them who they are" and more "here is the first time a person who maybe otherwise felt powerless in their life realized that they could hurt someone and get away with it"

media trope that makes me want to throw up and cry is when a character realises there's no way they're making it out of a situation in one piece. and in a single moment they accept it and turn to their distraught loved ones with The Smile. you know The Smile. sickening
