“There’s not much of it left.” COMES A QUICK REMARK ; he’s really starting to dislike this guy but unless he can find a way out of this hole , he needs him. NATE GLANCES AROUND IN TOTAL DARKNESS, grabbling for his lighter which takes a few minutes to spark. Sully was right , he really needed to replace the goddamn thing.
“ i like that you assume i can’t find my own way out.” THIS IS SAID WITH A HELL OF A LOT MORE BRAVADO THAN HE FEELS. To climb, he’s going to have to drop the lighter and without a hand to reach for……well it’s taking too big of a risk even for Nathan Drake.
“Get your ass down here yourself or i’m not telling you shit. We’re doing this together or not at all. ” Nate is taking no chances when it comes to Rafe Adler. He’d rather poke out his own eyes than give him an inch of trust.
With something of an amused laugh Rafe pulls the flashlight from it’s place at his hip, shining it down into the hole with the currently trapped Drake. Muddy, dark, wet. That was usually where the two usually wound up, even without him there. And even though Nate had mentioned nothing being left, Rafe is still irritated to find that very little catches the light as he moves the flashlight about.
“ No, you’d get out eventually, you’re practically a cockroach. ”
Another cautionary step and Rafe crouches near where Nate fell, moving to sit after a moment and letting his legs dangle over the edge, wedging the flashlight between his knees so he could free up both hands.
“ I’d come down there but it looks like you took the rope with you. “
