David was still feeling a little off after the attack, and while many of the staff members had reached out to him and told him that they were there if he needed anything - he would much rather talk to someone who he felt might understand him a little better, a fellow telepath, and that just so happened to be Charles Xavier.
David ran through the halls, moving in and out of classrooms in search for the man after not being able to find him in his office. A sigh passed his lips after leaving yet another empty classroom. He forced himself to come to a stop, deciding that it was probably better to stop running around like an idiot. There were other ways of finding someone, and running around looking like a lunatic probably wasn’t such a good idea after everything that had happened recently.
David closed his eyes; he had spoken to the man before, so finding his voice inside his mind shouldn’t be too difficult. However minutes passed and he was ready to give up trying and just wait until he could find the man in his office tomorrow, until he got another idea. David had been able to find Amy’s location once, maybe he could find the professor in the same way.
Several deep breaths were taken, before he attempted to do what he had done that day back in Summerland. Granted, he wasn’t exactly sure how it had happened but with enough focus maybe he would be able to achieve what it was he was actually trying to do.
David wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but finally after a while he saw Xavier’s exact location. A smile formed on his lips, but too excited over being able to do what he had just done - he lost the image. Instead of trying to use his abilities once again, David opened his eyes. He felt as though; while the man had been on the move, if he got there soon enough he would be in about the same area.
David took off running down the halls, until finally he entered the familiar location. He came to a stop, the floor creaking beneath his feet as he did. Luckily for him he wasn’t trying to be discreet.
“I’d say it’s exactly what it looks like, but I’m not one to judge. Alcohol wasn’t exactly my drug of choice, but if it helps-…”
Charles gave a thin smile, but it only lasted for a moment. “It didn’t use to be mine, either,” he admitted. “But, it’s a less destructive one- albeit, only by a little bit.”
“I’d offer you a seat, but, I do believe I’ve got the only one in the room,” he said. “I can, however, offer you an ear, if that’s what you’re seeking. How can I help you, David?”
