I spent my weekend at the amazing I, I, I, I, I, I, I, Kathy Acker exhibition at the ICA – it was spread across two floors with a café at the centre so I spent hours wandering between sections, reading a little, stopping for a coffee, wandering more. The exhibition I’ve been curating is approaching so fast, it felt inspiring to be in a gallery which is so simple and honest in its presentation. It was the perfect space to work on the essay for our exhibition’s catalogue.

i made a not-so-unhealthy iced latte of sorts and it was delish. ^-^ + 1 cup coffee + ½ cup coconut milk + 1 packet stevia + ice ☕️🌸✨

This morning I got up, opened a new document and started writing my dissertation. It felt good looking at my rough, working title and my epigraph, and I realised that I have so much stuff in my head that needs to be out on the page. Just before eight I headed out and I met a friend at Columbia Road. We walked through the flower market, we bought some more plants for the flat – she is moving in with me next month. We had coffee and read aloud to each other. Everything is so exciting

oh geeeez… it’s already july and i still haven’t found enough motivation to really dig into my summer assignments! at least i’ve started them, though.. :’)
