I have a huge problem with anyone who tries to fight for Muslims women’s right with the intention to “reform Islam”. Muslim women suffer at the hands of Muslims. Not Islam. Muslim women suffer because people don’t follow Islamic teachings regarding rights of women. If one even glances at the Quran and Hadith it is very clear that women have more rights in Islam than in any other religion. So your “ noble” cause to protect women from Islam is futile, because you are looking at the issue from a very blind sided perspective.

The Muslim Community needs to do a better job at defending these women instead of referring to them as “damaged goods” behind their back. As a young woman I’ve seen the conversations about a divorced woman with children, they talk about her like she’s of useless, and her life is over. I’ve heard the conversations about a young divorced woman with no children, they refer to her as damaged goods.  Stop looking at their divorces as failures, their children as ‘extra baggage” and her sexual assault/rape as a “taboo subject” that makes her undesirable. Its so disgusting and disheartening as a young muslim woman to see these opinions being enforced over and over. It does nothing but embed into my mind that my only and important value is my virginity.

Ok hi I just read your tags and you should know the last episode is beautiful they did such a great job ending the series so please go watch it. I've been a die hard fan of the show since it started airing and I couldn't be happier with how they finished the series
