Do What You Love To Do On YouTube
After massive amounts of research that I have done regarding marketing, SEO, YouTube channel growth, what’s hot and trending… I have found out that one of the biggest successes you can do for your channel is, do what you love. Neil Patel, who is one of the best internet marketers in the world, mentioned in a recent interview, that doing what you love is one of the best things you can do for your marketing.
One reason why doing what you love is so important, it’s because it comes across your channel as natural and honest. People respond to true originality and when you are just being yourself, not a made up version to try and make money.
We all know how complicated marketing any platform or channel can be in today’s wide array of social media, blogs, websites and more. It’s like we have to become this mastermind of multi-media, SEO, design and technology. It’s easy to become overwhelmed, especially when you aren’t getting any results at all from your posts on your brand channels.
Creating amazing content that is thoughtful is a plus for your brand. Do something and do it really well.
You might be asking yourself, what content do I need to create to become successful on YouTube or other platforms? The market is flooded with ideas that are already taken. Solving people’s problems is a huge platform that is so popular on YouTube right now. People are essentially looking for ways to solve problems or learning how to do something they don’t know how to do. Finding solutions for your audience is a great start.
All in all, doing what you love comes down to your deep inside feelings about your creation processes.
Will what you are creating now still be your main focus in the future. Burnout is a real issue with content creators, because they hit a certain goal, and then just watch their channel fizzle out. It’s because what drove them before, isn’t much of a feeling anymore, to be able drive that individual to keep creating similar content, is much harder.
The main goal of this tutorial is to make you see how valuable you are to your own marketing needs. You can do this. People will respond in positive ways. It’s all by doing what you love to do most of all, before you go into the marketing and SEO stages of the process.
Have fun creating your content and get down to your true feelings of what makes you tick. What makes you jump out of bed in the morning? Find that inner peace and soulful inspiration that comes from your heart.
I really hope this helps you on your journey to success and happiness. May you reach all of your goals and be the winner you deserve to be.
I will see you next time on mind spark. Any feedback on this blog is highly appreciated.

5 Steps To Beating YouTube’s Algorithm
Through extensive research on YouTube and other various platforms such as Google and blog posts, we have found the recipe for beating YouTube’s algorithm. You might be asking yourself, than why hasn’t your channel become successful if you know the big secret to YouTube? Well, it takes time and effort to make that happen. It just doesn’t happen overnight.
Trending pages aren’t what we thought they were
We have found that trending pages might not be affiliated with the actual algorithm at all. That’s right! They might be hand selected videos from a human employee of YouTube. I mean, come on. There only 50 videos that have to stay in the trending location at a time so why wouldn’t YouTube want to serve up videos they think should be more popular? How we know this is through data research of more trending videos than the ones picked for the trending page, which would suggest, someone is playing with the algorithm or bypassing it altogether. YouTube has 10,000 employees so that shouldn’t be difficult for them to do.
YouTube’s homepage isn’t what you think it is
One of the most frustrating things for new content creators is how to end up on YouTube’s coveted homepage feature. Maybe YouTube’s algorithm doesn’t care about what content you’re creating or how long your video is or how many views it has on it. They are actually showing videos that are a mix of old school YouTube content and new stuff too. Maybe YouTube figured they didn’t like the earlier controversy surrounding homepage videos that were viral but didn’t serve as good as a purpose as they originally planned, therefore it caused lash backs in the YouTube community. Another trend we saw is that YouTube serves up longer span videos in the homepage feature. And that could be because YouTube wants to be able to show ads in front of and inside those videos selected.
YouTube encouraging wholesome ad friendly content
One shift we noticed in YouTube’s algorithm is that wholesome clean content does well because it makes YouTube and the creators more money in the long run. And it steers away from videos that might be inappropriate for viewers by shadow banning or deleting those types of videos altogether. So does this make YouTube more restrictive as we have to cater to their needs? Yes. It means we must follow their pattern for making videos successful. We are all basically YouTube employees by creating content for them, or we are customers, by watching the content produced with the ads along with the way.
Do I have to follow every guideline for YouTube videos?
Basically put, no. there are still plenty of video creators that fall outside the lines of YouTube’s best practice plan that are still highly successful and growing. So not every creator has to try and follow the algorithm to still be a lucrative champion on YouTube.
Here are five steps to help your channel grow:
1. Upload quality content that is original.
2. Upload frequently, like two times a week if possible.
3. Try and make your content as compelling as you can.
4. If possible, create videos that are longer in length around ten or fifteen minutes so ads can be placed on them.
5. Make blog posts about your videos on many different platforms and include the links to your channel’s videos.
Don’t give up on Facebook just yet
One more tip we wanted to throw in, is going to Facebook, and finding forums and groups that help grow your YouTube videos. Not just sub for sub or like for like groups, but groups that are really invested in you and helping answer basic questions about growing your YouTube channel. They share their success stories so you can learn from other people’s ups and downs in the YouTube world. If you like, you can ask for constructive criticism on your YouTube feed and see what other creators have to advise you on. This is a valuable resource overlooked by many.
We hope you found this video to help you on your journey to becoming a successful YouTube video creator. We hope it helps us too ha-ha. We can grow together.
