Ivy Face
I just thought I'd point out that it's only May and I've had four cases of poison ivy this year. Three of these covered parts of my face and one required a trip to the doctor because it got to my eye. My fourth, and current, encounter with it isn't bad. It's just really annoying. As of last night it spread to my chin because I'm so talented, i can cause a week ok case of poison ivy on my arms spread to my chin. For my own reminder and for anyone else who decides to read this, I'm sharing this site which has a plethora of photos of poison plants common to Ohio and probably the Midwest in general. http://trekohio.com/2012/08/02/poison-ivy-poison-sumac/
Some tips on egg cooking with a shovel. Could be handy if I'm ever stranded somewhere with a shovel and eggs. XD
This is worth a read. Especially if you have an interest in geology.
This Facial Reconstruction of Henri IV King of France by French artist Philippe Froesch is Mindblowing!
This was all done digitally through a combination of programs like Cinema4d and Zbrush. Traditional methods are still used in his digital reconstructions as you can see in the bottom left picture. The dots poking out from the skull are facial tissue depth markers. They tell the reconstruction artist how thick the tissues should be at certain points on the skull based on large collections of data.

As an introvert, the best thing is finding someone who it isn’t draining to spend time with
It’s interesting trying to explain to people who don’t experience social exhaustion that there are some people who are less draining than others and then their are those who are mind numbingly exhausting. All socializing is not equal
Nice looking treasure hunter in the past tries to find a religious-y box.
Part 2: http://www.succinctresearch.com/crisis-in-crm-archaeology-is-changing-of-a-generation-part-2/ A couple years old, but it's a good read about CRM archaeology in a changing economy.
Streets of Harajuku extra crowded this time of year because of the pretty Omotesando Christmas Illumination.
So pretty! I really miss Tokyo. :O
U.S. state boundaries haven’t always been clearly defined. Because of unclear boundary descriptions in the Royal Land grants for Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, major disputes between colonies, settlers, and Natives arose in the 1600′s.
The easy-to-use getaway to historical maps in libraries around the world.
This is cool!
Yay! It's an interesting way of acquiring it too. XD
The idea that the United States has always been a bastion of religious freedom is reassuring—and utterly at odds with the historical record
